Nothing to say, yet
The speaker discusses the importance of kindness during challenging times. They suggest asking for patience and kindness from the Lord, whether dealing with difficult clients or stressful home situations. They emphasize that while a cure for the physical sickness may be found, healing emotional wounds caused by broken trust and anger is much harder. They urge listeners to make an effort to not catch or spread anger, seek forgiveness, and be kind to one another. The speaker concludes by saying they are praying and supporting everyone, and that God is with them. Good morning and welcome to some coffee with Chris. I don't have any coffee that I'm drinking today, but if you want to grab your coffee while we sit and chat, feel free. Today what I want to talk about is kindness. As we're going through this whole situation, it can be easy for our patients to wear thin. If that hasn't been a challenge for you yet, it most likely will in the near future. My recommendation to you is to keep asking the Lord to give you patience for those around you and for yourself, and to give you that kindness to share. Whether you're still working out in the public because the service that you provide is essential, and it's essential that you be there physically, and maybe clients or customers are getting on your nerves, or maybe you're at home and you've got a lot of kids running around. Maybe you're a single parent and it's equally or doubly stressful for you. Maybe you're younger and you don't get to see your friends, and you're stressed and frustrated with your siblings or your parents. Here's the thing. Eventually, I believe we will find a cure to this sickness that's going around. With that, we can medically heal those wounds, but healing the wounds that come from broken trust, that come from anger, are much harder to heal than even diseases. They take a lot of time. They take a lot of intentionality and love. What I would say is, as we are trying to do everything we can, as we're making such efforts to make sure we don't get this coronavirus or spread this coronavirus, we also need to make sure that we are making the effort to not catch or spread anger, and that we ask for forgiveness, and that we do what it takes to make it right, and be kind to one another. That's my thought for you today. Be kind, and be kind for yourself. That will go a long way as well. I'm praying for you. I'm pulling for you. God's got us all. God bless.
