Charles Major

Charles Major, born on July 25, 1856, was not only an American lawyer but also a talented novelist. Despite his profession, Major had a deep passion for writing. In 1898, he fulfilled his dream by publishing his first novel, titled "When Knighthood Was in Flower." Interestingly, Major chose to use the pseudonym Edwin Caskoden for this work.
