Charles H. Spurgeon

C.H. Spurgeon, a British Particular Baptist preacher born on June 19, 1834, was a prominent figure in the Reformed Baptist tradition. He staunchly defended the Church in accordance with the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, and opposed the liberal and pragmatic theological trends of his era. Spurgeon's influence remains strong among Christians of various denominations, who have bestowed upon him the title of "Prince of Preachers".
