Le Avventure di Pinocchio

Carlo CollodiCarlo Collodi

"Le Avventure di Pinocchio" is an 19th-century novel by Carlo Collodi featuring the famous fictional character Pinocchio, a wooden puppet who embarks on remarkable adventures. Considered a classic in children's literature, it was written in 1881 by Collodi, also known as Carlo Lorenzini. Pinocchio is a puppet with human-like tendencies, often resorting to lies and experiencing nose growth with each falsehood. Over time, Pinocchio's character has been embraced by the world of cinema, comics, and even musical albums and theater productions. Interestingly, Collodi initially did not intend to create a children's tale, as in the first version, the puppet meets a tragic end by being hanged due to his numerous mistakes. However, subsequent versions, published in a newspaper, took a different approach.
