Carl Lumholtz

Norwegian explorer, ethnographer, and adventurer Carl Lumholtz (23 April 1851 – 5 May 1922) is known for his academic writing style. In contrast to his peers, Lumholtz focused on documenting social relationships, attitudes, and the role of women in society.
