Nothing to say, yet
In this episode of Faith Alive in 5, the speaker addresses the post-pandemic stress, anxiety, fear, and worry that many people are experiencing. They emphasize the need to find peace within ourselves, even in the midst of external chaos. By recognizing God's presence within us, we can overcome these challenges and enter into a state of peace. The speaker encourages listeners to focus their minds on God and promises a brighter future. They offer to provide more teachings to help listeners thrive in the post-pandemic era. Welcome to Faith Alive in 5, the 5-minute gospel, and now for today's truth. In a world where we are now experiencing some post-pandemic stress, some post-pandemic anxiety, some post-pandemic fear and worry, nobody is really talking about it, but we want to talk about it because we want to see you heal. We want to see you thriving and not striving. While many people are looking for a new norm, are looking for a norm, something to actually relax them, to calm them down, to let them know that danger is not imminent anymore. Well, it's hard to do that when there's a war, when there's strife, and when there's racism, when there are all of these issues that are going on outside of ourselves. What do you do when you're reaching for peace within and everything around you says there is no peace? What do you do? Where do you turn? Well, we turn to Scripture because in the Word of God we find that there is a place of peace even in the midst of chaos and confusion. Jesus said in John that in the world you would have trouble, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. What are you talking about, Jesus? Be of good cheer when there's trouble in the world? What is he really pointing to? He is pointing us to him being within us because as we recognize and become more aware of God's living within us, the things on the outside of ourselves begin to get smaller and smaller and smaller until ultimately they will dissipate. It doesn't mean that those things are not going on in the world, but they won't be going on in your world, causing turmoil, causing anxiety, causing worry, and causing fear because now you enter into his peace. After all, one of the names of God is Jehovah Shalom, the Lord God, our peace. He told us in Isaiah that he would keep us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on him. Our minds will stay in this place of peace and calm. Remember, wherever your peace is, there is your prosperity. When peace begins to wane and you can't find it because of everything that you've gone through, everything that we've gone through collectively as human beings upon this planet, it has been trying and it has been quite testing, but it doesn't have to control you. It doesn't have to control your every waking moment. As you move through this time with me, you will discover that you have a bigger and a brighter future than anything that you have imagined before. And I am here to help reawaken your desire to thrive instead of the mundane life that so many think that they have to live, and striving and struggling because you are created for struggle. Pain doesn't look good on you. Pain doesn't look good on you. Pleasure does. Health does. Wealth does. And because you were created in the image of God, you have access to everything that God has, resident on the inside of yourself. So continue to listen as I bring you more of these teachings on a weekly basis to help you begin to come forward from a post-pandemic era and to a place where you will be stronger and more focused than ever before. So allow me the opportunity to help you get refocused and reenergized and mobilized so that you can be a channel for God to flow through and you can be globalized in a very positive way.
