Nothing to say, yet
God hears prayers and wants people to get quiet enough to hear His answers. He is not deaf or an idol, but a living and speaking God. The Psalmist asks for deliverance and already knows God will answer. We ask God because the answer is already there. God promises to be with us through challenges and bring us through. We should have expectations and anticipate the fulfillment of our prayers, just like we anticipate waking up to an alarm or using a car to go somewhere. God already has the answer and wants us to tune in and see that He is ahead of us. He has already prepared the outcome before we even face the situation. We should trust Him and use prayer as a vehicle to receive His blessings. There are so many people who do not feel that God is hearing their prayers. Are you one of those people? I am here to remind you today that oh yes, He is hearing your prayers and what He wants you to do is to get quiet enough so that you can hear the answer because you're not hearing Him speak and He's speaking to you. He's not a deaf God. He's not an idol. He is the living, breathing, walking, talking God. He is the I Am and He is speaking to you even today. In Psalms 142 and 5 it says, I cry unto the Lord. I say, you are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living. Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me. Bring me out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will deal bountifully with me. I like this passage of scripture in the Psalm and I'm reading from the English Standard there because he not only speaks to what he wants God to assist him with but also he sees the outside. He sees the in from the beginning. He says, the righteous will surround me, for you will deal bountifully with me. So he already knows that God is going to answer. You don't ask if you haven't already received. The only reason we ask God for anything is because the answer is already there. Oh, why bother asking? Why bother opening our mouths in prayer if we don't know that the answer is already done? Because God said, before you even ask, I've already answered. Before you even think about it, I've already brought it to pass. That's good news, my fellow friend. God has already answered. In Isaiah 43 and 2, I love this. He says, when you pass through the waters, I will be with you. And through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned. And the flame shall not consume you. Yeah, you're going to go through some fire. You're going to go through some pain. You're going to go through some water. But listen to what he said. You're going to go through. Hey, hey, you're going to go through. And when you're going through, there's another side. If there was a body of water setting before you, and you could see the land on the other side, and you had a vehicle in order to get there. And I mean a boat, you know what I mean. You had the vehicle in order to get there, and you got in the boat, and you saw the other side. You anticipated arriving to the shores of the other side, or else you would have never gotten in the boat. Is that true? Is that true? Of course it's true. You already saw the shore. You saw the boat. You saw the vehicle that you could get there with. You saw what it looked like on the other side. So you aborted with expectation. The same thing applies in our everyday waking, walking, talking life. You go to bed at night. You set the alarm with anticipation that it's going to alarm, or the clock is going to, or Alexa's going to tell you to get up. You set the timing in anticipation that something is going to nudge you. You plan your day out. You have a car in the garage, in the driveway. You think, I'm going to go out. I'm going to get in it. It's going to take me where I need to go. All things set in order. Those things play out. Why? Because you've already seen the end from the beginning. I speak this in our Sunday morning experience in different places where I coach and teach people. I talk about these very tools. Using the end, and have the end in mind for your destination, for your purpose, for where you're going. You see, God already has the answer for you. He wants you to tune in so you can see that he is already ahead of you. He prepared the land on the other side of the boat. He prepared the end of the day before the day ever was put on the calendar. He prepared your outcome before you ever went in. He already prepared your healing before the doctor ever diagnosed anything. He already prepared your bank account before you ever had your name on one. Trust him to get you through to the other side. Prayer is the vehicle. God already has it prepared. Ask and you will receive. Seek and you will find. Knock and that door will be opened to you. So get busy asking, seeking, knocking, knowing that it has already come to pass. See it on the inside and you will have it on the outside. I'm Dr. Faye, your Happy Pastor Coach today of Happy Church International.
