Septembre

This composition is a collage consisting of three harmonically and dynamically highly opposed sections which refer to the three months of autumn season in all their climatic variations. The first part is mainly an orchestral theme which serves as an introduction as well as a link between the two improvised sections. The first improvisation is free-jazz inspired which illustrates a raging storm until its eventual calm. The second improvisation is modal, in reference to those beautiful autumn days
