Jen's personal experience with caregiving for her parents led her to develop a passion for providing quality care to others. She now works as a clinical service coordinator at Edgewood of Grand Forks, ensuring that new employees receive proper training and supporting her current staff. Jen is honored to have this position and is considered an incredible mentor and leader. Empathy is one of the qualities that makes her an amazing leader. She values being part of the best team and wants everyone to know something important. When Jen was 24, her mom passed away from a terminal illness. Through it all, Jen had to be her mom's biggest advocate. After her mom passed, her dad struggled so bad that he had to be put in an assisted living facility to help care for him, where he would eventually pass as well. Throughout this entire experience, Jen had to trust her parents' caregivers completely and could only hope that her parents were getting quality care. Having this experience, she came to form a passion for caregiving and made it her mission to provide quality care to those who need it while giving their family peace of mind. After many years of caregiving and different roles, she ended up back at Edgewood of Grand Forks, hired as a clinical service coordinator. This role entails ensuring that new employees are getting proper training on what providing quality care means, as well as supporting her current staff. This is something that means a lot to both Jen and I. Jen is an incredible mentor and leader and has been an important asset to her team. Jen is the first in the company to have this position and feels very honored to be chosen for this job. I have had the honor and pleasure of working for Jen for over the past year. Jen is the best leader I know. One thing that I think makes Jen such an amazing leader is her empathy. Not only is Jen an incredible leader, but she is part of the best team I know.
