Bahá'u'lláh

The author Bahá'u'lláh, also known as Mírzá Ḥusayn-`Alí Núrí, founded the Bahá'í Faith. He believed he was the fulfilment of Bábism, a branch of Shí‘ism, and also considered himself a messenger from God who fulfilled the end-time prophecies of Islam, Christianity, and other major religions. Bahá'u'lláh's name means "Glory of God" in Arabic, and he lived from November 12, 1817, to May 29, 1892.
