So for traditional dress for Italian culture, I will start off with men. Traditionally, men usually would wear a suit made of lightweight fabric such as linen or cotton. They were usually paired with a dress shirt and leather shoes. And in many areas as well, hats were worn as well. Modern fashion, though, really now is that men wear more casual clothing such as jeans and T-shirts and things that are more modern. Italian women back, you know, traditionally back then would favor elegant forms of clothing made from high quality fabrics such as silk or wool. And also, they wore dresses, skirts and blouses were pretty popular with high heels and jewelry. For children, traditional clothing often mimicked that of their parents. So the children would usually wear close to what the fashion that their parents would wear. But for children, there was a big emphasis on colorful designs. Many children also included in their clothing, playful accessories such as hats, bows and suspenders traditionally.
