Golfers approach the game one swing at a time, focusing on the ball and staying attentive to their recovery. This mindset is similar to how we navigate life, accepting its ups and downs, and moving forward. Emotional sobriety is about adapting to life's challenges and doing what is right. This approach has made us stronger in the game of life. Golf script. Golfers take it one swing at a time, one putt at a time, and one pitch at a time. If we're on the tee, or in the bunker, or on the green, we go with the flow and keep our eyes on the ball. We stay square on the ball, and that's the same attitude we take with our recovery. We don't take our eyes off our recovery either. Sometimes we're not happy where the ball lands, that's for sure. But it's the same with life. So we hit the ball wherever it lands, moving forward, remembering where we were. Emotional sobriety is the same. Everyone's life has its twists and turns. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we're knocked down. So we sway with it as it shows up. We're just doing the next right thing. Each time we approach the ball, doing our very best. Taking this attitude has made us stronger in the game called life.
