I'm Anantara Hulya, a student in Diploma 3 English Department. One of the reasons I'm interested in the department is because, of course, I love English and want to learn more about it. During my time in the department, I've had a lot of interesting experiences and things. One of them was the culture shock in the lecturers and the informants. It gave me a deeper understanding of the major. Okay, what do you like most about this major? Actually, I like all the material talks, especially the speaking course, because I learn how to speak to the public using English, of course. This makes me even more motivated to pursue a career in the field. One, two, three, four. Of course, there were challenges along the way. One of them is the overwhelming amount of coursework, problems in the friendship circle, or problems with some lecturers. The way I deal with it was to stay calm and be natural in dealing with the problems. For my friends who are also choosing this major, I have some advice. Firstly, you should prepare a few things before entering this major and prepare your mental. And guys, if you want to know, I really like watching films and listening to songs.
