The speaker reflects on their imperfections and how God loves them despite them. They discuss the importance of thanking God for everything and the need to have faith and see God in all aspects of life. They mention watching a movie that reminded them of Satan's presence and the importance of choosing God over evil. They talk about the power of prayer and the difference between God and Satan. They encourage listeners to read the books of Revelation and Job for further understanding. They also challenge listeners to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and to deepen their relationship with God. All of my life I've been making a list of all the things about me I'd change if I could And the longer I live, the more I'm convinced the bad and the ugly will outweigh the good I beat myself up, I tear myself down And it's never been harder to understand how You perfectly love me and all my imperfections Still can't believe that it's true How you perfectly love me and all my imperfections And all my imperfections Dear Lord, I come before you today I lift each and every person up to you, Lord I ask that you open their ears, their hearts, and their minds I ask that you give them knowledge and understanding of your words I thank you, I praise you, and I glorify you Because without you, none of this would be possible I pray this all in Jesus' name, Amen Hey there, it's Anna with God's Podcast Today I'd like to start this episode differently I'd like to remind you that I do put Bible scriptures in the description below so that you can go back to the Bible for yourself and read them and see where I get my inspiration from I also want to do something totally different I would love to engage you guys to start emailing me for prayer requests for ideas for each episode, what you want to dig deeper into the Bible about I want to be able to communicate with each and every one of you listeners so I ask you and I encourage you to email me, to send me questions whatever it may be, so that I can engage and do my best for you and bring you closer to God Today I'd like to start off by saying this I want to thank God I want to thank God for everything and I mean everything I have been through to get me here I want to thank God for allowing me to grow in my relationship with Him and sacrificing His only Son so that this is possible Thank you God for forgiving me of my sins daily and giving me a chance at life Thank you God for the time you have given me here on earth and all the blessings you have bestowed upon me daily and for the future to come Thank you God for loving me and for making me, me Thank you God for choosing me Thank you God for allowing me courage to spread your word Thank you God for this platform Thank you God for all those you send my way to listen to what you give me to say Thank you God That is exactly how we need to start each and every day thanking God for all His blessings He gives us for being with us, for giving us strength I heard once, and I've thought about this myself If God gave us just the things that we had thanked Him for the night before what would we have? That's just a little something for you to think about because are you thanking God each and every day for your life and for everything that He's giving you? I hope that you are and if you're not, I hope that you start which brings me to today's episode I went to the movies last night with my husband and we watched the movie called The Shift produced by Angel Studios and it hit me in spots of my heart I didn't even know were there or existed watching this movie opened my eyes and my heart to how Satan is so real how if our eyes are closed we miss God's works in everything that if you allow God into your life and you spend time with Him you will see Him in everything even in your darkness God is so real and God is always working and God is always with you and you will see Him if you allow your faith to be strong in Him you will see Him through the darkness you will see Him in the glimmers throughout everything open your eyes to even the things you don't think are relevant or important He is there this movie reminds us that life can be dark this life can be ugly this life can be hard but God is always shining through we are always looking for something searching and God is the answer God is light and in God you will find the light if you choose God you choose good you will see Him in all His works in everything that you do everything that is around you just a little mustard seed of faith can carry you through your darkest times this movie is a reminder of just a little faith to be good and do good in all you do the little things like helping someone without expecting anything in return a kind word giving your last of something giving when you don't have anything to give just listening reaching out to someone praying for someone having enough faith for someone who does not believe allows those around you to see God to see God's work and the light that God shines through you allows them to have just a little faith and see that there is still good in this world God is real and He is working and no one can tell me differently I have seen Him time and time again I have encountered Him time and time again no one can tell me I have not experienced God in my life no one can try to get me to sway because I have seen Him in every aspect of my life the good the ugly and I will continue to praise Him through it all Satan will keep fighting me that is a given and Satan will keep crying that is a given as well He will never give up He will never give up the more you surrender to God the more you give your life to God He will tempt you and He will fight you and throw whatever He can your way when you surrender to God Satan will send his minions your way to fill you with his evil spirits of anger fornication aggression hatred jealousy and the list goes on until you don't recognize yourself for every time you ward off one spirit like it says in Matthew Satan sends seven more to come into you and destroy you and try to sway you into his way but the difference between God and Satan is Satan calls you by your sin and God calls you by your name you are a child of God who God made in His image before you were even made God knows us more than we know ourselves God knows the numbers of hairs on your head how amazing is that? God knows us because He wove us in our mother's womb God knows what we need how we will act before we ask or do it but God needs to hear from you God wants you to be specific in your asking in your prayers and Satan does not have that power Satan only knows what you tell him so stop telling him stop speaking to him that means you need to learn how to keep your mouth shut to Satan he does not know your thoughts or your heart Satan only can give you false truth he can only offer us gratification in this life here on earth Satan cannot offer us God's promise of life after this time on earth he cannot offer us the place God calls paradise a place of milk and honey a place where evil does not exist so stop giving Satan the ability to know you or your sinful thoughts stop speaking death over your life allowing Satan to hold grip of you do not speak out loud what you want Satan to know Satan can give you everything your earthly flesh wants but then what? then what? stop living for Satan and live for God living in God and being more like Jesus leaning on God's understanding and not your own having faith having relationship with God learning God's word and allowing God to have a home in your heart can only bring you closer to Him and His promise you know I hear it all the time but if God was so powerful why does He let these bad things happen? God is not a God of goodness He lets people die He lets good people suffer He doesn't stop horrendous things from happening He lets wars happen He lets disease happen He's not a God of goodness and this is my answer that is false God can stop anything He can change anything but we are in a time of Satan we are in a time that we can't fully comprehend or understand because of who we are we are human and flawed we were born with sin because of what happened in the Garden of Eden our fall occurred way before we were born and had anything to do with it the Bible tells us all these things it reiterates chapter after chapter how we as humans fail and fall over and over and have submitted to Satan and sin time and time again how God has given us warnings how God has given us chance after chance but we still fail when are we going to stop being so ignorant? when are we going to listen to God's word and follow what God has been telling us? and obviously it states this in the Bible as well because the Bible gives us the blueprint the map to how it will play out we will be given one last chance like it fully explains in Revelations but will it be too late? so I challenge you to read the book of Revelations for clarification I'm not going to lie it is a scary book but it will open your eyes and hopefully put you on your knees and surrender your heart and soul to God but I also challenge you to read the book of Job because the book of Job reveals Satan at work I ask you to take the time to read and study the book of Job I ask you to really dig deep could you today go through all Job went through and still have faith and love God through everything Satan put him through? could you do it? would you still hand your life over to God and his promise? the book of Job gives us an example how Satan works and how God allows certain things to happen because we as his children are given free will and it allows us to show no matter what Satan does to us we can still choose God and have faith and believe Job also shows us no matter how hard Satan tries we do not have to give in and it shows us that Satan will not conquer us if we put all of our faith and trust in God and how and if we have faith and surrender to God God will prevail that is my belief this season we are in I ask you to reflect on why you may celebrate Christmas is it the Hallmark version we all love? or is it because God sent his only son Jesus Christ who came to save us if it is not the version of our Savior then I challenge you as a listener of my podcast to read the book of Luke this Christmas season Luke has 24 chapters it's not long and it explains the birth of Jesus and his life discipline yourself this season and read God's word grow your relationship with God get to know him and give God the gift of your heart this season instead of thinking about what you can get give your heart and self to God and see what he gives you in return God is so good allow him to do good in your life Jesus is the reason for this season and with that keep bibling keep spreading God's word and discipline yourself for God this season and celebrate God not our Hallmark version of Christmas I appreciate each of you listening and supporting God's word I thank you for coming back each week I pray blessings over your life and your seasons you may be going through God is always the answer turn to him it's free and life-challenging I love you and so does God thank you for listening I hope you enjoyed today's episode I hope you share it with someone else in need because we all need God until next episode Lord I lift each and every person up to you whatever they may be going through whatever season they may be in whatever walk they are in with you Lord I ask that you are with them you guide them you give them understanding you give them knowledge I lift them up to you Lord and I ask you to walk this journey with them I thank you Lord I praise you I glorify you and I pray this all in Jesus name Amen You tell me I'm something worth seeing The story of me is the story of me Every chapter is a new list of all of the ways You perfectly love me and all my imperfections You can't believe that it's true How you perfectly love me and all my imperfections All my imperfections you use
