The National Youth Agency believes in the potential of young people to shape the world, despite the challenges they face. They are dedicated to championing and enabling youth work. The podcast will feature conversations with various people in the sector, discussing their experiences, challenges, and opportunities in youth work. Welcome to the Youth Work Podcast powered by the National Youth Agency. All young people deserve a productive, fulfilling future, and society needs the spark and energy of young people to make it stick. Yet somehow thousands of young people feel blocked by the complex, sometimes disheartening challenges the modern world throws at them. We have a steadfast belief in young people and their potential to shape the world no matter what society puts in their way. And so here at the NYA, the National Body for Youth Work, we are dedicated to championing, professionalising and enabling, making great youth work happen. Throughout the series we'll be talking to a number of colleagues across the sector, from policy makers, writers, decision makers, and of course, grassroots youth workers, to talk about their experiences of youth work, the challenges they face, and the opportunities that present them.
