Alfred Elwes
Alfred Elwes was a British author during the nineteenth century, who specialized in children's literature. He was also an academic, philologist, and occasional translator of French, Italian, and Portuguese literature into English. However, Elwes is best known for his translation of the medieval Arthurian romance titled "Jaufry the Knight and the Fair Brunissende; a Tale of the Times of King Arthur."
