Podcasting has become a popular and influential way to communicate and share information. There are different types of storytelling podcasts, including personal narratives, fictional narratives, and interviewer storytelling. Podcasts are easily accessible through various platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and TikTok. People can listen to podcasts at their convenience, whether it's during a drive, a workout, or when they're bored. Podcasts cover a wide range of topics and allow for educational storytelling. Listeners often form emotional connections with both the podcast and the podcaster, leading to loyalty and engagement. Overall, storytelling through podcasting is effective, influential, and accessible to a global audience. Podcasting has become one of the most used and influential ways to communicate and to inform people. Podcasting allows anyone to listen to any informational, drama, comedy, romantic, educational, or personal stories anywhere and anytime they want. Storytelling through podcasting has become one of the most effective and influential ways in the podcasting world, and there are many reasons for that. So to begin, there are different types of storytelling podcasts. There are narratives, which are personal stories and experiences, fictional narratives, which could be a podcast about a book, like a fictional book, could just be a podcast that's, you know, like a book where you create a podcast about characters that live in a fictional world and live in fictional events. And then there's also interviewer storytelling, where podcasters will interview someone to share their personal story that isn't their own, so they can share a different experience. For example, one of the most well-known podcasts is called Call Her Daddy by Alex Cooper, and she tends to share a lot about her personal life, but almost every week now, she has a different person on, and she interviews them about their life because she's already given enough podcasts about her own, so she thought it would be cool and different to bring in somebody else and ask them about their personal experiences and how different events shaped them and made them who they are to share different experiences for her listeners. So storytelling and podcasting easily allows accessibility to a global audience through various platforms. People can listen to podcasts through different music apps, like Spotify or Apple Music, social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, which allows people to actually watch podcasts, so either you can just listen to a podcast through a music app, or now you can actually watch podcasts through TikTok and through YouTube. Like I said, one of the most famous podcasts is then Call Her Daddy. Alex Cooper has a Spotify account for her podcast, so listeners can just listen to it with their AirPods or just on their phones, and she also has a recording of the actual interviews that she does, and so you can see her and the other person and watch them actually connect through a YouTube channel as well. People can also tune in at their convenience. For example, people can literally listen to a podcast during a long drive while they're working out or when they're just bored and just want something to listen to. People are there, podcasts are there all the time for listeners, whenever and wherever they want, even if it's at 4 in the morning or 8 o'clock at night. Podcasts are always there and always accessible through social media. Podcasting also allows people to educate their listeners on any topic through storytelling. Podcasts can literally be about anything. They could be about politics, about an education system, about the environment. They can be about celebrities. One of the most famous ones is about true crime and about some murders that happen or some crimes that have been unsolved and about some serial killers are a big one as well. You can also literally make a podcast about anything. You can literally make a podcast about a podcast, which is basically what I'm doing right now. One of the biggest things with storytelling podcasts is that podcasts also, these kind of podcasts tend to form connections with their listeners. When a listener listens to the same kind of podcast over and over again, they tend to form an emotional connection, not only with the podcast, but also with the podcaster. When they are able to form that emotional connection, the listener will tend to go to the podcast, social media, different types of social media like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and then they'll also follow the podcaster on all those types of social media apps. They're going to want to know everything about the podcast, about the history of the podcast, and then they're going to want to know everything about the podcaster and who the podcaster is in real life. Podcast listeners are always waiting for the next podcast. They always know what time it's going to come out at, and they're going to try and listen to it as soon as they can because podcast listener loyalty is extremely high right now. Overall, through digital podcasting, storytelling has become one of the most effective, influential, and informative ways to reach all people at any time, any location, and any platform due to its digital access and creative connections and creative ways to display stories.
