The speaker is Aileen Maher, a hairdresser who ran her own salon for 25 years. She didn't want to continue as a hairdresser due to the physical demands of the job, so she went back to college to get teaching qualifications. She has now created an online training program for hair loss and will be sharing knowledge on this topic in future episodes of her podcast. My name is Aileen Maher, I'm a hairdresser who ran my own salon for over 25 years, who didn't want to be on the salon floor as an old hairdresser, and I wanted a career after my hairdressing. So to be honest, as we know, hairdressing is a young person's game, all the standing, the long hours, the late nights. So I went back to college, did all my teaching qualifications and designed an online training program for hair loss. So over the next few weeks, I'm going to give you all the knowledge on hair loss.
