Copyright can be complicated and depends on factors like length, use, and intention. Teachers play a crucial role in preparing students to be creative communicators. Being hands-on and providing examples help cultivate this skill. It's important for students to be creative communicators in a digital world. The audience is asked how they will approach cultivating creative communicators in their classroom. Hey, guys, it's Adriana. Hi, I'm Julia. We're Tech Talk, and today's topic is creative communicators. Our first topic is, what is a creative communicator? A creative communicator is a person who uses different tools to share their ideas and goals. There are many different ways this can be done. Creative communicators have a point they're trying to get across and focus on doing it in a diverse way to get across to multiple audiences. Creative communicators are seen in all different careers and it can be a very helpful way of showing others your ideas. For example, education, marketing, and so many more. Now we'll be moving into the topic of copyright. So copyright can be a very complicated subject. Often the laws do not have a black and white guideline to follow, especially with advancements in technology. Copyright can depend on how long the source material is, how it's used, and the intention of the use, which can make things very complicated. For example, sharing educational resources may be okay inside a classroom, but reselling them for profit is not. To stay safe, it is always best to be kind and cite your sources to avoid any confusion. And for our third topic, we're going to be talking about how it helps students and how teachers can prepare creative communicators. When it comes to cultivating students, the process begins with the teacher. If we want our students to be creative communicators, we must be one ourselves. This includes providing examples like creating infographics to summarize lessons or desired learning objectives. For me personally, I'm going to be a future kindergarten teacher, and I will be more hands-on with my approach in cultivating kindergartners and the creative communicators. For example, I can create a digital portfolio with my students so that they can see their growth over the school year. It's important for our students to be creative communicators, as this is a vital skill that they can use all of their life, especially since they will grow up in a world that requires them to have digital skills. The next question is for our audience. Now that you know what a creative communicator is, how will you approach cultivating creative communicators in your classroom? Thank you guys for listening. We're Adriana and Julia, and we were with Tech Talk.
