Adam Mickiewicz

Adam Bernard Mickiewicz, born on December 24, 1798, and passing away on November 26, 1855, was a renowned author from Poland. He was not only a national poet but also an essayist, translator, publicist, and political writer. Mickiewicz was a prominent figure in the Polish Romantic period and is highly regarded as one of the Three Bards of Poland. In fact, he is considered the greatest poet in the entire history of Polish literature.
