Niagara Falls is actually in Canada, not the United States. There is a state of emergency due to an influx of tourists. A list of terms that supposedly mean your partner is cheating on you has been released, including "call of booty" and "fireside fling." Author Robert Kiyosaki made controversial statements at a fan meet-up. The Dubbo Farmers Market focuses on primary producers and is held at Macquarie Lions Park. A woman won $1.5 million in the lotto after making a mistake on the app.
Another week, another show full of mysterious facts like this one. I just found out that Niagara Falls is actually in Canada, not the United States. I don't know if I'm just stupid or if that was a misconception that most of the population had. Apparently they've got some solar eclipse or lunar, some sort of eclipse happening and people are flocking to Niagara Falls and it's become so bad with tourists that they've had to declare a state of emergency.
That part doesn't concern me. The fact that I thought it was in the United States does. Coming up later on the show this morning, your chance to win tickets to All Fired Up at the Dubbo Regional Theatre. We've got your chance to grab tickets later. But up next, supposed words that mean your partner is cheating on you. There's been like this glossary release of terms that apparently mean your partner... If they say any of these words, just end it now.
Just end the whole relationship. I can't understand how this works. I'll tell you about it in just a sec. Just a sec, Rihanna first. Zoo FM Breakfast. It's Monday morning, brand new week. We're supposedly... It's not 7 o'clock, it's 6 if you haven't changed your clocks yet. Quarter past 6, Morgan Wallen, Zoo FM Breakfast. You're home with Dubbo's best music from the 80s. It's up at 23 in Narrow Mind today. Currently 11.5, going to be partly cloudy.
I'm not used to it being so light outside. I keep thinking I'm living in an alternative dimension. But no, the sun is rising and it's only quarter past 6. Probably because we like to mess with the time as humans and turn it forward and back an hour whenever we feel like. Because why not? Why not if we have the opportunity to? A glossary of terms that supposedly mean your partner is cheating on you have been released.
And some of the phrases are just downright absolutely hilarious. I don't even understand how this is possible that you can actually apply this and think that some of these are legitimate. Website Ashley Madison, which is known for adult things, put out a list. And I'm finding it hard to believe any of these are actually real. Supposedly your partner is cheating on you if they use the term call of booty in regular sentences. And their call of booty suggests that they're playing flirtatious games with other individuals.
So if for some reason on earth your partner is using the term call of booty in a text message, you know something's up. I've never seen in my entire life anyone use those terms together. Never. Never at all. Phrase two is auto-erect. Erect being a term only used to describe the raising of a structure or industrial implement, of course. And apparently according to the list here, it means your partner is using chat GPT to message their other interest on the sly.
They're not just messaging them themselves. They're using AI. Because what a specific term. Very small criteria can be met there. Where it really loses me, this whole list of terms that mean your partner is cheating on you, is the third term of supposed phrases to show your partner is cheating on you, which is fireside fling. If for some reason your partner is putting in a text message fireside fling, I don't even understand how that's a term.
It implies that they have a separate romantic partner, but only associate with them during the winter months to keep warm. Only during the winter months, just to keep warm. Fireside fling. Have these people never heard of a wood fire? You know, or at least a $20 rotating blow heater. Actually, I suppose when it comes to this list of terms, rotating blow heater could mean something else. Selena Gomez, 20 past 6. Top of 23 degrees today in Wellington, currently 11 and a half.
Here with Keegan, going to be a nice cloudy, but warm, not warm, sorry, cloudy and sunny day ahead. I'm not a weather reporter in any regard at all. You can obviously see why. Robert Kiyosaki, who's an author of the internationally popular book Rich Dad Poor Dad, he's allegedly dropped some controversial and just downright bizarre statements that a fan made up over the weekend. It's just, these are just something else. These are the words that you don't think should be said in public.
I mean, Robert, who's 76 years old, allegedly said to a woman of Asian descent while shouting down from the stage that he killed a lot of her people during the war, and then he pretended to shoot her at a fan meet-up. Allegedly, groans erupted from the Randwick Racecourse fan meet-up crowd, with one woman uttering, Oh my God, you can't say that. The event was actually billed as a nine hour long seminar, with tickets up to $1,000.
But the lady filming the incident said, Robert appeared for less than two hours. I mean, nine hours just sitting there and he only shows up for two. It's like me, hopefully at work. I'm meant to be here for eight, only here for one and a half. I actually just disappear for half the show. I'll put the show on automation and let the music run through. But I mean, this whole situation, it's just sideways, to be honest.
I mean, allegedly, there is somewhat video footage of it, but you'd think you wouldn't be saying that, especially in a sort of crowd full of thousands of people. Duran Duran, wouldn't be like The Wolf. It's your Monday morning ZOOFM Breakfast, on Yama Dabo's best music from the 80s to now. Keep them with you. It's breakfast on Better Music, 92.7 ZOOFM. If you missed it over the weekend on Saturday breakfast, we had a chat about the Dabo farmers markets.
We're going to give you the, if you missed it and you're looking to go, we're going to give you sort of the cheat sheet on what you can expect. And hopefully I slightly push you over the line to end up going when it's next time. I was going to tell you about this lady that typed in the wrong buttons on an automated Lotto machine. While the rest of us on the planet, you'd normally, you know, double check very vital and important information that you're putting into a piece of technology.
She didn't, but she's not regretted the decision, it's safe to say. I'll tell you what happened once she mistyped a bunch of stuff into an automated Lotto machine about 10 minutes away. Pink first, trust fall. ZOOFM Breakfast. Keep them with you. It's your Monday morning. Daylight savings time. Losing it. Just feels weird. 20 minutes to seven. Pink. Trust fall. ZOOFM Breakfast. It's your Monday morning. Top of 23 in Gilgamesh today. Currently 11. Going to be cloudy.
Possible sun, which is always good to hear. It's Keegan with you. We had a chat on Saturday morning with Estelle Joseph over the weekend, the market coordinator for the Dubbo Farmers Market. If you've ever considered going and maybe, you know, you did a little bit of a push towards the final decision to end up going. Here's a quick, very small, quick summary of what you can expect from the Dubbo Farmers Market, especially for the next time it's on.
An authentic farmers market means we focus primarily on primary producers, people growing the actual food that you're eating. So they come from all around. We've got people coming from Mudgee, from Orange, Cunabara, we've got chickens, we've got plants, and of course all our fruit and veg, meat, eggs, bread, and we've also got coffee and breakfast. We are at Macquarie Lions Park. So that's the park at the information center opposite Mitre 10 on Macquarie Street. And as far as I remember, you're allowed to take your dog down there, aren't you? As long as it's on a lead and of course you clean up after it.
Yes, definitely. Definitely those two things. Keep them under control because there is a lot of food stalls down there and a lot of people bringing their families, which is great. So we want to keep it friendly and healthy and happy and safe for everybody. There's also a little playground. So if you bring your children down, there's plenty of grassy areas if you want to have a picnic, there's chairs down there. Absolutely fantastic. Well, thank you for coming on this morning, Estelle.
Thanks very much, Keegan. Cheers. You're on Zoo's Breakfast. Quarter to seven, pound a finger, Zoo FM Breakfast. It's Keegan with you for your Monday morning. Top of 23 degrees today in Trangie. Currently 13 going to be cloudy. Cloudy for most of the week, sunny and cloudy, a mix of both. Possible showers tomorrow around lunchtime. It was lovely on Saturday. On Saturday afternoon, actually, I got home after doing the show here, took out my phone, opened up Facebook.
One of the first things I saw on one of the local pages for Dubbo was a man naked walking down the road. Just a rear shot of him naked wandering down the road. This is not what I want to see at 2 p.m. on a Saturday. And Facebook's not the place I go to see that either. Just not a good mix of things there. Coming up in about five minutes' time, it's going to be a bit of encouragement to press the wrong buttons on the machine whenever you want to enter the lotto.
You're on Zoo's Breakfast. Christina Aguilera, five to seven, Zoo FM Breakfast for your Monday morning. It's Keegan with you. Top of 23 degrees today in Narromine. Currently 11. A bit of fog around the region. If you're on our highways, probably slow down slightly. However, I'm not the one driving the car, so you can make the decisions. If you've ever used an automatic machine or an app to punch in your lotto numbers, surely, like everyone, you take a second to just look over what you've entered before you hit submit.
I think that's called double-checking. It's a common practice. Well, a lady in the US decided not to do that whatsoever, and it turns out her fatal mistake on a lotto app ended up winning her $1.5 million. I've never had a mistake win me $1.5 million, but this lady did. It wasn't even a single number that she ended up messing up. Not a single number. It was her slipping a finger on the screen, and she entered in a lotto draw on a completely different month to the one she originally intended on entering.
Completely different month. She had no idea she'd even made the mistake until she received a phone call about her winnings but an entire month earlier than she expected. It's the best mistake of my life, she told the local news outlets. Unfortunately, I mean, the best mistake of my life is probably as small as when I bump the knob on the toaster and you end up accidentally cooking it just right. And that doesn't win me $1.5 million.
Kid Leroy Young Cook. Chung Cook, sorry. I'll get it right eventually. I've been told off about it before. Too much. Zoo FM Breakfast, Monday morning. You're waking up with the Central West best breaking. On 92.7 Zoo. Breaking. A couple of minutes away. If you've ever seen matches restart during sport games and you thought, this is ridiculous, why do they even bother? I've got something that'll take the cake here. It's happened overnight in a basketball game overseas and the reason they restarted and the amount of time they restarted with left on the clock is just something else.
It's ridiculous. I don't even know why you'd bother. It's just wasted everyone's time. DJ Snake, Justin Bieber first. Let me love you. Monday morning, Zoo FM Breakfast on your home. Dubbo's best music from the 80s to now. It's Keegan with you this morning. Cheers for your company. Train quarter past seven. Zoo FM Breakfast for your Monday morning. It's Keegan with you. It's over 23 degrees today in Wellington. Currently 12 degrees. A little bit of fog around.
Must be cloudy today. However, it should clear up shortly. A little bit of traffic more than usual. It's unexpected out the front of Ben's Tyres in Wellington this morning. So if you're going to go past that area, I'd probably check it out beforehand rather than get stuck there for a couple of minutes. Now, this week, Dubbo Blood Donor Centre. They're 29 donations short of what is needed to support patients in need. Tomorrow and Friday are particular days of concern.
If you'd like to make an appointment, you can always call 13 14 95. That's 13 14 95. Or visit lifeblood.com.au. In general, Dubbo needs 650 donations a month just to meet patient demand. One in three people will need blood in their lifetime. Yet only one in 30 Australians donate each year. The Dubbo Blood Donor Centre. It's located at 1 at 150 Darling Street. It's closed today. Open tomorrow from 11.30am to 7pm. And open most days of the week as well as the first Saturday of every month if you'd like to fit in the appointment around work.
That's 13 14 95. The phone number or lifeblood.com.au. Now, later this morning, these all-fired-up tickets. It's one of the best 80 shows you'll ever see in your life. And that's setting up some sort of expectation. To grab these tickets later, I'm going to give you a clue now. You're going to tell me the artist name and the song title of this 80s hit. Artist name and a song title. When I give you the instruction to ring, not yet, but the phone number is 6884 8499.
It's 6884 8499. That's coming up later this morning. 20 minutes past 7. See you at Zoo FM Breakfast. You're home with Dubbo's best music from the 80s to now for your Monday morning. Top of 23 in Gilgandra today. Currently 12. Going to be foggy this morning and cloudy for the rest of the day. If you've ever seen what is probably called a pretty stupid restart during any sort of sport. I mean, I've caught one that's happened over the weekend.
It just absolutely takes the cake. Two Irish basketball teams have been ordered to replay the final 0.3 seconds of a quarterfinal match. 0.3 seconds. After a team appealed against the free throws. Okay, I should have rewritten that. I can't pronounce those words. A team appealed against the free throws the team were taking as the buzzers sounded, signifying the end of the game. The NAC ruled the match should be replayed in its entirety. But Basketball Ireland said the option to appeal was granted in error.
Instead ruling that only the last 0.3 seconds of the game should be replayed. To top it all off, this replay of 0.3 seconds of the entire match will be scheduled for next week. An entire week away. They have to book accommodation and travel for hours just to replay the player's very last breath of the match. Just ridiculous. Lil Nas X. Zero Fam Breakfast. Monday morning. I can't. It's breakfast. Coming up in about half an hour, we're going to have Dougal Saunders on, the Dubbo State MP and leader of the New South Wales Nationals.
Give us an update. What's going on? What do you want to have a chat about? Quick chat with us. Have a yarn. Up next, Ros Pappalardo from All Fired Up. The main star. One of the main stars of the best 80s show you'd possibly ever see in your life that's coming to Dubbo. He's going to be on to have a chat with us. First, Violet Femmes. Is it Femmes? I don't know. Blister in the Sun. Zero Fam Breakfast via Monday morning.
Going to be a lovely day ahead. Possibly a little bit foggy this morning, though. Blister in the Sun. Almost 20 late. Zero Fam Breakfast. Top of 23 degrees today in Narramine. Currently 13. Bit of fog this morning, but it's going to be partly cloudy for the rest of your Monday. You know when you're craving that classic Big Mac flavour, but not sure how hungry you are? Well, now there's one for every kind of hungry with the Mac Jr.
and Grand Mac, but returning only for a limited time. Ros Pappalardo, one of the stars of the upcoming Dubbo Regional Theatre show, All Fired Up joins us this morning. Cheers for coming on the show. Hey, thanks for having me, Pegan. What's All Fired Up all about? All Fired Up. Well, it's an 80s mixed tape musical, and it's a story of a 45-year-old woman having an epic midlife crisis and through some quirk of fate finding herself back in her 1987 bedroom, face to face with her 16-year-old self, and through the power of the wonderful 80s songs, finding her way back to happiness and back to the present time.
So there's all the hits of the 80s interspersed, performed by a live band and sung by myself, interspersed through that story, bringing that particular character from one point in her life back to happiness. So you actually play the music live? It isn't just played out of speakers in the background? Oh, no, no, no. We're touring a full-piece rock band, so there's keys and a drummer and bass player and a guitarist and me singing, and then two actors telling that story about the woman going back to her past and finding her way back to happiness.
That's absolutely fantastic. It's a pretty big ensemble. Yeah, yeah, I can imagine. What are some of the headlining 80s tracks we can expect to see performed? Well, All Fired Up by Pat Benatar. Oh, of course. Yes, that was a given. Yeah, of course. A little bit of, you know, our girls just want to have fun, a little bit of Madonna, a couple of bits of her track, you know, famous track. We've got Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
We've got Footloose. We've got Uh-Huh, Take On Me. So we've got a whole bunch of really great songs that people just love. I've seen online that this is described as just a rollercoaster of emotions and flashbacks. How do you guys actually go about performing the story through the music? Well, we write the story. We write the script and then intersected the script with a bunch of these really kind of great songs. So, you know, we have two actors.
We have five of us in the band. You know, and it's an exciting kind of experience that's supported by great lights and really interesting little sets that we push around that's all flashing different neon colors. And, you know, we're all dressed up in our kind of 80s gear. And we also engage, Keegan, with the local community. And we ask members of the local community to join us on stage in the final moments of the play. So we're currently working with about 10 to 15 women on each local community on tour.
And we're teaching them some simple choreography from dance moves from moments of the play. And then at the end of the play, we magically invite them onto the stage and it all happens in a wonderful sort of finale. That is actually so cool. It's fun. It's so fun. The story itself, is that based on a true story from within one of the cast or just a generalization? Well, I can't imagine. There's two writers of the play and that's myself and my colleague and dear friend Rachel Terry.
And we're both in our mid-40s. So that's just got a little bit of reality to the storytelling. Yes, of course. I've heard there's a radio presenter as part of the show. Should I be worried about him taking my job? That's me and her. So maybe if there's a job going, you never know. Oh, right. Okay. Maybe you need a little sidekick. You know, we could do the Dubbo DJ Neon and Keegan show. I mean, you've got the ability to actually play live music.
I like that. So at least you've got one up for me already. Each to their own. Well, cheers for coming on for chat this morning, Rose. It just sounds like a fantastic show full of some of the most classic tracks, to be honest. It really is. So thank you so much for your time. And I hope to see everyone at Dubbo there on the... Oh, you got it right. I was going to say, I'll go and double check.
It's the 19th of April. It's all in my head somewhere. Of course. Brilliant. Thank you so much. Thanks, mate. Have a good one. You too. Cheers. If you'd like to watch the video trailer for the actual act or snag tickets for April the 19th, you can head to www.drtcc.com.au or just put All Fired Up Dubbo into Google. It'll come up pretty quickly. However, if you'd rather get your hands on some tickets for free, I have one double pass sitting right here in front of me.
6884 8499, the phone number. But before you ring, you've got to tell me the artist name and song title of this recognisable 80s track. Artist name, song title of this track. 6884 8499, the song title and artist name. Ring and grab yourself a double pass to this brilliant 80s show coming up here in Dubbo. You're on Zoo's Breakfast. Check out Zoo FM on Facebook for more. Uncle Cracker. A couple of minutes to 8. Zoo FM Breakfast.
Top of 23 in Gilgandra today. Currently 13 degrees. Bit of fog around this morning but should clear up and be a nice sunny day ahead. Time to do this. You're on Zoo's Breakfast. Good morning Cherie. Cheers for listening. Thanks for ringing. You've got to tell me what this absolutely brilliant 80s hit is. Yes, definitely. I think it's U2's Live All Without You. 100% spot on. For bonus points however, what year did it come out? Oh my God.
I'm going to say that it's like 83. I mean, you know about as much as I do now. It was 87. It's all right. I didn't have anything else to give you anyway. But you've won the double pass to All Fired Up put on by the Dubbo band. All Fired Up put on by the Dubbo Regional Theatre. Congratulations. Oh, thanks so much. We're going to love that. I'm just out of curiosity. If you could pick one 80s track that really takes the cake as, you know, the best memories and your absolute favourite, what would it be? Oh, there's so many.
There's just absolutely so many. Look, In Excess is probably one of my favourites. 100%. What's the best In Excess track? I mean, we've all got an opinion on it. There's too many to choose from. 100%. I'd say Never Tear Us Apart. However, that would probably put some people against me with their opinions. Congratulations. Just hold there for a sec. I'll grab your details. Thanks very much. It's breakfast on Zoom. A couple of minutes away, you would have heard of Mr Lambo before.
He's a nickname given to a bloke that runs sort of an online car charity raffle auction website thing. That's my best technical explanation of what it is. He bought a house during one of the seasons of the block for a lot of money. A lot of money. However, it's been put up for sale on one of the various real estate websites for an amount of money less than that. It's a considerable amount of money less. And I'll let you know about that about 10 minutes away.
Dougal Saunders, the Dubbo State MP, on next. Also the leader of the New South Wales Nationals. Going to have a chat with us, have a yarn for a couple of minutes. First though, Pink, Sting and Marshmallow Dreaming. Your home of Dubbo's best music from the 80s to now. It's ZOOFM for your Monday morning. Pink, Sting and Marshmallow Dreaming. ZOOFM Breakfast for your Monday morning. 10 past 8. Top of 23 degrees today in Wellington. Currently 14. A little bit of fog around this morning.
Should be dissipating now. Going to be partly cloudy for the rest of the day. Dubbo State MP Dougal Saunders joins us. Also the leader of the New South Wales Nationals. Good morning, mate. G'day, Kagan. Good to talk to you. Good to talk to you as well. Before we get started, quick question. We've just had a giveaway for an 80s show. Ticket's all fired up. I wanted to know, what's your most memorable 80s song that you've got in the back of your mind? I've got to admit that when I was a radio announcer for many years, I played a lot of 80s music.
I love 80s music. Probably songs like Come On Eileen. Oh, right. What else? Take On Me, Aha, which has had a revival as well. Some of those style of songs are ones that... Listen, I hear music and I can start singing it normally fairly quickly if it's from the 80s. We'll try it one morning. I'll put on a song in the background. We'll see if you just start singing, mate. Who knows? I've heard some news about the Dubbo Sports Hub.
What's going on there? Yeah, look, obviously this was a commitment I made when I first came into government replacing Troy Glant as the local member for Dubbo. And there'd been a commitment made around redeveloping a site up near Charles Sturt University and just adjacent to the Cycle Club. Now, there's been quite a few different iterations of that. I'm obviously now not in government, although I'm the local member. And I just got some clarification the other day that the tender process has been finished.
So builders that have now said they want to do the job have finished putting in their expressions of interest. There'll be a process now for the next few months of going through all of that. And then hopefully by the last quarter of this year, and it might be August, might be September, we will have action on the ground. This is to build an incredible new PCYC indoor sports stadium focusing on particularly indoor sports like basketball, which have been missing out for so long.
So five brand-new world-quality basketball courts plus an incredible uplift of gymnastics for PCYC and many other functional areas in that space. There's about $40 to $45 million now set aside, all from the coalition government. We just need to see it get done. Unfortunately, with the change of government, there's been a lot of reviewing going on. The project was under threat for quite some time. We've managed to still keep it on the books. We're now hopefully in the next few months going to see some action.
I mean, I'm all for indoor sports as we head into winter, and it gets incredibly cold as far as I've heard out here. The Regional Event Fund, I've heard that's ongoing, but it's about to finish up. Yeah, it is, mate. In fact, it finishes tomorrow. But look, we've been sending out messages to all of the tourism groups in the region. But things like Flavours of Mudgee, things like the Narrowmind Dolly Parton Festival, things like the Dream Festival have all received funding from this destination, New South Wales Fund, previously.
So it's just a quick fibre reminder this morning, if you are looking at running an event, whether it's small, medium or large, and you haven't applied for this funding yet, you really need to get onto it today. It closes tomorrow, and it's providing great opportunities for either ongoing festival-type scenarios or brand-new ones. So if you've got a cracking idea, make sure you get your application in today. Absolutely brilliant. And just before we wrap up, I know that I've read a news article that the flu season is approaching much quicker than normal.
I think we're already in it, which is much earlier than expected. Is there much opportunity to get flu shots around here? Yeah, look, there definitely is. In fact, I popped up just the other afternoon to Rana Mall Pharmacy. All the pharmacies in town are doing it. All the GPs are doing it. There are plenty of opportunities to get a flu shot, and you're right. The flu impact is being felt already. There's been a real uplift from what we're hearing from GPs and also pharmacists.
So they're saying as quickly as you can, get onto it. And it doesn't matter what age you are. If you are somebody who doesn't want to miss days of work because, you know, you're down with the flu, a really good opportunity, quick, simple, takes literally two minutes to do it, and it might make your life a bit more pleasant over the coming months. 100%. Always good to chat, Dougal. Touch you again in a couple of weeks.
Good on you. Thanks, Keegan. Thanks, mate. Kanye West and Rihanna. It's not very often you see Kanye West on the radio anymore. It's really five past eight. Two FM breakfast, top of 23 degrees today, right across the region, currently 14. Tones of Nine has just announced an Australian tour in August. She's going to be touring Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Townsville, Fremantle and Melbourne. Tickets going on sale in just over a week's time on April the 15th. I don't know if that comes as a surprise to anyone.
She's quite popular. However, it does appear that she's kind of leaving out the west side of the country. Let's push past that for now. It's not the first time someone's done that. Entrepreneur Adrian Patelli, who's known for owning the car raffling business LMCT Plus. He's made headlines. Well, he did make headlines last year when he snapped up Eliza and Liberty's house on the TV show The Block for $4.4 million. $4.4 million. That's a key number there.
Remember that for a second. And now the businessman has unofficially put plans on the table. He's also known as Mr Lambo. I don't know why that name ended up sticking. But anyway, Mr Lambo has unofficially announced plans to offload the Melbourne home for as little as $1. He bought it for $4.4 million. The five bedroom, four bathroom house in Hampton East was first listed last month with a price guide of $2.9 million to $3.2 million. Still not the $4.4 million that he bought it for.
I mean, I've heard of typos involving either too many or not enough zeros. But this is surely pushing the theory into a bit of unknown territory with just $1. You obviously would have missed the key many, many times to get to a price like that. Date Macrae, Greedy. 2FM Breakfast, Monday morning. Good morning to you. You're waking up with the Central West best breakfast. A couple of minutes away, I'm going to tell you what the footwear you wear on the aeroplane says about you.
An air hostess has come out and admitted that certain types of footwear from plane travellers. Is it called plane traveller? I don't know what the actual phrase for it is. What's it called when you go on a plane? Flying is probably the better word for it. Whatever shoes you wear on a plane, apparently it says something about your personality. And a flight attendant revealed all those details so you can hear next how much of a bad person she thinks you are.
Screaming jets first, an absolute classic track. I haven't heard this in ages. Better. About half to nine. 2FM Breakfast, Monday morning. Keeping with you. Luxury body, 20 minutes to nine. 2FM Breakfast, gentlemen. Dubbo's best music from the 80s to now. Top of 23 in narrow mind today. Currently 16. I'm going to catch a flight in about a month and apparently footwear that you wander onto the flight with actually matters. Had no idea this was the case, but a flight attendant has revealed what the footwear you step onto an aeroplane with reveals about your personality and the way you live.
Firstly, she says she grills... She practically... OK, I want to context this. A lot of it really isn't nice, but maybe it is telling about some people. Firstly, she grills anyone wearing slip-on sneakers, the ones where you don't actually have to tie the shoelaces, saying, I know exactly who you voted for and there's a huge chance you already chugged two or three beers in the airport before stepping on the plane. Apparently that's you if you wear slip-on sneakers without tying up your laces.
What she says about other people that wear certain footwear is Crocs here got the bullet, with a description stating, people who choose to travel in Crocs don't shower before the flight and your sweatpants probably have at least one stain on them. That's probably true. Although I don't wear Crocs, so I wouldn't know. I'm not a part of the pact, I'm just looking at it from the outside. To finish off the absolute char-grilled roast of these poor people just stepping onto their plane, she said people who choose pink running shoes when they fly are either the worst Karen they've ever met and nothing is going to meet their standards or the sweetest person I've ever met and they love to go to church and there is absolutely no in-between.
