Hi everyone, and welcome to our podcast, The Dark Side of Fame. Today we have with us me, as your amazing host, and Zoe, as my co-host. Hey everyone, I'm Zoe, your co-host. In today's episode, we'll be talking about a famous music artist. Yep, that's right. So, if you're new to this podcast, we basically just chat about celebrities and crimes they have committed. If you're interested in this, then we suggest you stick around. Today we have a special case, one you absolutely cannot miss. She may even be your favorite music artist of all time. Stay tuned, and remember to like and subscribe. So, Zoe, lately we've been hearing a lot about Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. There's also been a lot of talk about her era starting on Wog Talk. But have you heard the latest about her and her devious crimes? Yeah, it's quite interesting actually. I never thought Taylor Swift, out of all celebrities, could do something as horrible as that. It's such a shame, really. Yeah, so many people were shocked after hearing about it. Including me, actually. She had to cancel her Arizona as being sentenced to 20 years in prison. Whoa, uh, I knew what she did was bad, but 20 years? That's a long time. I was shocked too. But before we get into more details, we have a special guest with us here today. This person was actually a witness of the crime and was the one who called the police. Please welcome, Rachel. Hey everyone, I'm Rachel. I'm like, really excited to be here with you guys today. I listen to this podcast like every single day. Me and my family love this channel, my kids especially. When they're making breakfast, I turn on the radio and we get ready for the day. Thanks, Rachel. We're glad you like it. So, how has your family been? Pretty good, thanks. It's my kids' first year in college. They're twin boys. And I'm having a couple days off work, which is a relief, you know, because of the event. Oh yeah, that sounds awesome. Taking some time off is probably a good idea. So back to the podcast. We heard you were a witness and called the police on Taylor Swift. Yeah, that was me. It was a really shocking event to see my favourite celebrity committing a crime, especially since we all thought she was such a good person. Yeah, that must have been pretty scary. But before we ask you some more questions about your sighting, we're going to have a quick teaser for our upcoming episode. See you after the break. Be sure to stick around for more details about this case. In our next episode, we will be talking about the many crimes 50 Cent has committed over the years. Make sure to check it out next week for more details. Welcome back to the Dark Side of Fame. The new episode will be released next week, so keep checking up on our podcast. All the information will be on our website. Anyway, back to our current topic. Continue with your story, Rachel. Alright, so when I saw her doing that crime, I was honestly in disbelief. I never imagined she would do such a thing, especially since she's so famous. Like, if you're a nobody and get caught doing a crime, nobody will care as much. But if you're one of the most famous people on the planet, millions of people will know your name, and then it will cause a lot of chaos around the world when people hear about the crime. That's a fun point you make, but thanks for being here with us today to share the story more in depth. Before we get into that, we'd like to fill you guys in a little bit more with the backstory. Yeah, so, Taylor Swift was found guilty on October the 17th, 2023. Authorities have been investigating her case for a couple of months, but she was finally caught in action. She has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. Her fans and people around the world are in shock that someone who has worked so hard to show she's a good person would do this. It's caused quite a big disturbance, actually, all around the globe. People are even protesting for her release, and they're raiding police stations. Really? That's crazy. Didn't someone, like, throw a brick at a police officer or something? Um, yeah, but that's another story. So, the impact this case has had is like no other. People are acting like children, and it's completely outrageous. We know you guys must be wondering what she actually did, but before we tell you the shocking news, we're going to have a quick commercial. Stay around for the big finale. So, now that we've filled you in a little bit more with the details, we're going to continue listening to Rachel. Oh, right. Right. I was walking down to the grocery store to buy some milk because, you know, I needed some more. And I walked by this super sketchy alley, right? I couldn't believe what I saw. There she was, Taylor Swift, dealing a bunch of drugs to some teenagers. Wow. I can't imagine how you must have been feeling. So, what did you do? How did you react? Well, it was a big shock, so I walked up to her and gave her a piece of my mind, right? When you say that, what do you mean? Did you hit her or something? No, I didn't hit her. I just yelled at her face. Oh, okay. I just had to ask. Oh, it's okay. Anyway, so, I yelled at her, then called the cops. At this point, a lot of people had gathered, so the police came pretty quickly. She was arrested and the teenagers ran off as soon as I ran up to them, so I never saw their faces. I can't imagine what this must have been like. I mean, people must have been furious at her, right? Yeah, everyone was really mad at her. I mean, people were trying to hurt her, and the police had to call them back up to hold the situation down. Well, that's expected, right? People wouldn't know how to handle their emotions after seeing all that. Yeah, I guess that's true, but I still felt a bit of pity for her because, you know, she's my favourite artist. Well, she was. I also really loved her as a person before this incident. She's done so much for charities and people. I guess you're right, but that doesn't justify what she's done. She illegally sold drugs to kids, luring them away into dark places, and who knows what stuff she was selling them. Yeah. I honestly think that she deserves everything that's coming her way. Yeah, no, I completely agree with Zoe. Taylor Swift definitely had it coming for her. This is something you can't get away with if you're caught, no matter how loved you are around the world. I won't deny that I love to listen to her music, but I guess it wasn't liked. It makes you wonder if there are other celebrities out there who could be doing the same thing. I mean, Taylor Swift definitely is not the only one. Yeah, it's a bit scary, actually, knowing she was just going around and selling drugs to kids. Anything else you have to say, Rachel? No, not really. Sorry about that, but thanks for letting me be on your podcast. I've always wanted to know what it would be like being on my favourite podcast. No problem. So, Taylor Swift has been found guilty of selling drugs to underage children. She has been sentenced to two decades in prison. She also has to cancel her world tour, and it's probably going to be her last tour of her career ever, considering she'll be around 54 years old when she gets out of prison.
