Vocaloid

Vocaloid is a singing voice synthesizer software created by Yamaha Corporation in 2004. Users input melodies and lyrics into an editor and choose from various "voicebanks" (databases of recorded human syllables) to generate realistic digital vocals. The software popularized virtual pop icons like Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin/Len, and Megurine Luka.
