Real name was Albert Nelson (April 25, 1923 – December 21, 1992), was a Chicago based guitarist and singer often regarded as one of the most influential blues guitarists of all time. Nicknamed 'The Velvet Bulldozer' because of this large stature and velvety voice, he drove a bulldozer as a day job before he became a well paid touring musician.
