Thank you for agreeing to take part in this interview. The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of the coordinator of teacher support and professional development facilitators in the school division of the scientific community. I hope that the information you share with me today will help me analyze your experience. I have put together a set of six things to guide our conversation today. Do you have any questions about the information I have presented in the first part of the interview? No, I don't have any questions. How do you describe your role as a subject coordinator in your school? Personally, sir, unlike other schools, having a subject coordinatorship in a small school like ours here in Valdivia is quite challenging compared to other schools. We are in an average number of coordinatorships that are given to teachers, 2-0. Usually, teachers have one, two, or two teachers. This is a small school. It is challenging because each teacher would have probably around four to five or six coordinatorships. If you have a subject coordinatorship, it is quite demanding. Especially, I am an English teacher. It is challenging. Not especially when you are filing up for a grant. There is a requirement for a submission for a subject coordinatorship. You are not focused on the subject area of the coordinatorship because there are demands coming from other coordinatorships. But, it is fulfilling if you are able to contribute to the school through your coordinatorship. What is your role and responsibility to coaching teachers now? As a subject area coordinator, my primary role, I think, is first to relay to my colleagues whatever announcements or to the divisions. Of course, the first to receive the report or announcements is the subject area coordinator. My primary role, first, is to relay to them the latest updates or announcements on the divisions with regard to my subject area coordinatorship. Another is to provide technical support through learning action sessions by being a learning facilitator. For example, if the topic is about any language-related topic or related to English, there is no other English teacher in the intermediate level. I am only in one section. So, the support that I provide is by being a learning facilitator in the lactation. So, in the lactation, what is your role as a subject area coordinator? Ah, subject area. My subject area is English. But, English is like a package. Once you are an English coordinator, most probably, the related coordinatorship, like school publication, Englishman, school publication, another research, HRD, literacy, school literacy coordinator, and so forth. Not that I can tell you. LRMS, LRMS or LRF, and so forth. So, you discussed about lactation and what is your role, responsibility of facilitating professional development activities for teachers?
