Hect and Becca must now find a way to survive without T.J. No money, no jobs, no place to stay, and in an area of El Paso where no one spoke English, there seemed little chance for the young pair. Becca, however, was more resourceful than Hect as she knew the type of person to approach who could point them to a place of rescue. Hect tried first and failed miserably, but then Becca stepped in and took over, being more street-wary. Despite his wounded manhood, Hect felt compelled to step aside.
