In part 3 the older brother is distraught over his younger brother's return. His psychiatrist sees this as an opportunity to finally get in touch with his feelings, but alas, he is still unable to put his emotions in words as he is too caught up in revenge to be able to discern anything but how wrong he feels over his mistreatment. He sternly affirms there is no pardon ever under any conditions when he is confronted by an image of forgiveness personified.
