The protagonist is once again Henry although at a much younger age. His mother's most prized possession, her wedding ring, is missing. The mystery begins to unravel after a call from Henry's fourth grade teacher asking for permission for another mother in the class to call her about an extraordinary situation involving her son. Turns out Henry stole the ring and gave it to the second mother's little girl. How could such malicious theft be atoned for and become an act of grace?
