Walking Across The Dam

A simple walk turned into something more. Early spring at the Quabbin has its own kind of beauty. No leaves yet, no green to speak of, just bare trees, open sky, and that first real stretch of sun after months of cold and gray. The wind comes off the water sharp and clean, and every step across the dam feels like shaking off winter for good. This piece came out of that moment. Not from color or bloom, but from light, air, and the quiet sense of starting again.
