Concert Band- Rise of the Red Moon

This piece illustrates the rare red (or "blood") moon that arises about every 3 and a half years. It's presence lures wolves, witches, vampires, zombies, spirits and other scary creatures out into the night. They lurk in the patches of darkness as the beauty of the moon casts light throughout the streets and the forests. The piece ends on an unsettling chord, leaving a spooky feeling behind. I incorporated English Horn, Contrabass Clarinet, and Contrabassoon for this piece to make it feel afar a
