Nothing to say, yet
Gregoraki uses a unique filmmaking style to create a sense of impending doom and an unexplainable absence in his movies. Examples include his Teenage Apocalypse trilogy, The Living End, The Doom Generation, Nowhere, Mysterious Skin, and Kaboom. So, let's explore how Gregoraki uses this style of filmmaking to build worlds and landscapes that implore the audience to feel an impending sense of doom and an inherent absence that you can't quite put your finger on. The films I will be using as examples are his Teenage Apocalypse trilogy, The Living End, The Doom Generation, Nowhere, his most commercially successful independent classic Mysterious Skin, and his 2011 film, Kaboom, that moved away from the teenage malady and onto the twenty-something listlessness.
