The speaker is discussing their "All Format Team of the Year," which consists of players who they believe have had a significant impact on their respective teams. The team includes Uzman Khawaja as the opening batsman, followed by Sugman Gill, Virat Kohli, Harry Brook, Travis Head, and Darrell Mitchell. These players have performed well in various formats of the game and have had notable achievements throughout the year. The rest of the team will be revealed in part two. My All Format Team of the Year. Now this team isn't necessarily who's been statistically the best, but the players that I believe have had the biggest impact on their team. Number one in opening the batting is Uzman Khawaja. 1168 runs at 55.61. He's been a rock up the top for the Aussies this year, despite having really tough tours in India and England. Number two, Sugman Gill. The most runs across all formats. 2126 runs, including 700s and 1050s. Best year of his career definitely, and looks only to improve. Number three, who else could it be, Virat Kohli. An incredible World Cup with a player of the tournament performance. He also broke the Test 100 drought and managed to hit another 8 across the year. At number four, Harry Brook. Became a mainstay in the England set up in all formats. Played a massive role in the Ashes, and is an absolute human highlight reel. Number five, Travis Head. What a year. From being dropped in the India tour to his next visit to the country, he's man of the match in the World Cup final. The Aussie slasher managed over 1600 runs across all formats, at a strike rate of 97.1. Is he Australia's most important player? Number six, Darrell Mitchell. One that's definitely flown under the radar. The second most runs in all formats, with 600s and 950s, including two huge hundreds versus India in the World Cup final. The rest of the team will be in part two.
