Thanksgiving can be a time of joy, but also hurt. As families or friends gather around a table, you might be invited to give thanks in the midst of your hurts. We can do that. We can thank God for all God's goodness in the midst of our hurts. Yet, part of what makes us thankful is knowing we are seen, heard and understood. Your hurt has not disappeared this weekend.
