This led to the discovery of a new abiotic biome, designated “Xerotherms”. Only extremophiles are able to withstand the extreme atmospheric pressures, temperatures, and dry environment. This is also where an odd, white, rocky structure’s been discovered, whose origins have remained subject of debate for decades.
