Tech Forum Week 5

TJ Pollack is using a recording to test a tool that could help him with his writing and public speaking challenges. He tends to be very direct and talks fast, so it's difficult for him to meet word count and speech length requirements. This tool could help him plan out speeches and see their duration. He's currently in his hotel room after a long day at work and a 10-kilometer run. He's proud of himself for getting through it. He's testing the Audacity tool and hopes everyone has a great day. Hello class, this is TJ Pollack. I'm recording this to see if something like this could help me. One of the challenges I have in writing and in public speaking is that I'm extremely direct, so it takes me great effort to reach word count minimums and speech length minimums in my trainings, and I tend to talk fast, so the way that I'm talking right now is much, much slower than I would normally talk. So this tool could be useful for me to help me plan out speeches and see how long they would be. Hopefully my onboard mic on this laptop is working okay, and I hope you guys can understand me and hear me just fine. I'm in my hotel room. It's currently 7 p.m. where I'm at. I had a long, hard, hot day at work, and then I owed myself a 10-kilometer run after work, which I enjoy, but sometimes after a long day, it's the last thing I want to do, but I still got through it today, so I'm proud of myself. Anyway, that's about the size of it for today, just testing out this Audacity tool. It seems to be working well, and I hope you guys have a great day.
