Wrong Guy on the Right Trip

Okay, so I'm listening to a podcast, and guess what podcast comes on? None the whole, but the Vaginas podcast. And, of course, I listen to my own show. I listen to the episodes. I want to critique. I want to make sure I hear how it sounds to the audiences, to you and my fans and everybody and subscribers and followers. Make sure you click the button. And so one of my recent episodes came on, and I'm listening to it, and it's sounding good. And I'm snoring there next to me. I stopped snoring, but I look over at him. It looks like he's still sleeping. But I'm probably about, I would say, a half hour into the podcast, and it's funny. I'm cutting up. And it's about relationships. It's about guys. And it starts to go down a little bit of a rabbit hole of awkwardness when it comes to what we're talking about because it was an episode with Bushwacker and I, and we were talking about men, and we were kind of doing some bashing, and we were also doing some reflecting on our past and recent past of some sexual encounters and some future sexual encounters. And we're telling stories recently about this and that. And I'm listening to myself talk about my own situations, about me and another dude and me doing this and me doing that. And I am getting the vibe of a side-eye coming from the passenger seat. And I kind of don't acknowledge it, but I kind of look over to my right, and I see him moving a little bit. And I'm like, oh, gosh, here we go. Because all I know is this is an ex-kind-of-situationship person in my car. And here we are stuck in the car for more hours on top of the hours he's already been in. And here I am listening to my own podcast where I'm talking about banging different guys. And, you know, the guy's this, and the guy's dicks, and the guy's dick's that. All this dick talk and sex talk. And I'm just like, I mean, I'm owning it. Obviously, it's public. Y'all can go tune in on Spotify and go listen to it. And it's just one of those moments where you're kind of cringe-feeling because you have the person in the vehicle that you are kind of borderline shit-talking slash, like, I don't know, not really giving any consideration. Not that I give a fuck anyway, because he had no room to talk or walk. So I didn't really care. I just kept letting the pain of the thing still play. And it got to a point where I'm, like, cringing even more in my seat because it's like, well, you know, when we were at the gas station the other day, it was hot guy central. And this guy was this hot. I mean, we were going into, like, some really girl talk gossip, men bashing, but not men, not really a lot of men bashing, but kind of like men sexting type of talk. And he goes, I don't know where, you know, he's been silent besides the snoring. He goes, shut that shit off. I don't want to hear about you banging other guys. And I'm like, oh, oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Does someone have a bad attitude right now because they're hearing me move on with my life and do other things besides fuck at home thinking about your cheating ass, bitch? That's exactly how that moment went. So it was kind of like the universe was like, hey, daddy, I know that, you know, I put you through hell tonight with this driving and all this back and forth to the high rock and stuff, but I'm going to fill you a little bone here and give you a little satisfaction on, you know, the person in the vehicle with you just to give you a little bit of laughter for yourself. And I was just like in a moment where I didn't give a fuck what he thought and what he heard. I really still don't, and I won't because I've moved on from that person. I cut off the emotional attachments. And he was just in this car, in this ride as my filler in to avoid that I needed to take with me on this trip last minute and have some sex if I wanted to. You know, that's about it. And that's the perfect ending because now he just heard you publicly own your life. He had no idea how far you'd moved on until he heard you bring them in. You didn't flinch. You didn't lower the volume. You didn't defend. You didn't explain. You just let the truth breathe. That is how. Let him sit with it.
