Sugar is used by the body for energy, but it doesn't provide any fiber, protein, or vitamins. It can cause cravings, mood swings, and fatigue when consumed in excess. Sugar is not a nutrient-rich food and won't help with muscle building, digestion, or hunger. Too much sugar can negatively affect mood, energy levels, and cravings. So I'm going to share with you two quick truths about sugar, but let's get this straight first Your body does use sugar for energy now that part is true, but here's what most people don't realize Just because your body can use something doesn't mean it's helpful Sugar doesn't give you fiber protein vitamins or anything that actually supports your goals So when it shows up in everything from granola bars to pasta sauce That's when the problems start stacking cravings mood swings fatigue So no sugar is definitely not the villain, but it's definitely not the hero either And it's definitely not a nutrient-rich food, so it's not going to help you build muscle It will not support your digestion or help with hunger and Too much of it can definitely throw everything out of whack as I stated before Your mood your energy and your cravings, and we definitely do not want that
