The conversation was about psychological safety and its importance in various settings. It involves feeling comfortable expressing opinions and emotions, creating a space for difficult discussions, and allowing room for growth without pressure to be perfect. It is crucial for practitioners to ensure patients feel safe to make mistakes and be honest. Psychological safety involves creating an environment where individuals can speak freely without fear of judgment or retaliation. It is essential for clinicians, healthcare teams, and patients to foster psychological safety for better collaboration and improvement in function. Alright, so let's talk about psychological safety and what psychological safety is to each of us. So for me personally, when I think of psychological safety, I kind of think about feeling comfortable enough and safe enough to express my opinions and feelings about a patient based on my clinical knowledge in the OT setting, but also just having a comfortable space to speak about difficult topics if need be, wherever that may be and whatever setting that may be. Yeah, I definitely agree with that. I also think you can tell what rooms there is psychological safety and what rooms there aren't. I think everyone's walked into a room where, you know, if two people were fighting, you feel the tension even if you don't know what happened, even if they're not even talking to each other, you can feel that tension. And so I think psychologically safe places you are able to feel what you need to feel and make mistakes and have opportunities to grow without feeling this intense pressure that you have to be perfect. Yes, I think that that's a great definition. I think also, too, as future practitioners, we can consider psychological safety for patients and clients like when we're working with them, making sure that they feel like they're in a safe environment to make mistakes and be honest and collaborate with us in order to improve function. I agree. I think that we need to think about how others can add to the psychological safety of a room, but also how we ourselves are being psychologically safe for our patients and our coworkers. I also think that, along with everyone else's definition, another part of it is being able to speak your mind without fear of people judging you or of retaliation from those around you. I 100 percent agree with everything you all just said. Just to kind of echo, you know, it's for you as a clinician and as a member of a health care team, but also for your patients, because thinking about things like, you know, health literacy, they may not know what they don't know. So that's kind of on you and your team to ensure that you're being safe. You're talking about those things that may be a little more controversial to discuss with them. And then, yeah, Keith.
