Craft Docs recently launched an update called 2.8, which includes improvements to their whiteboard feature. They have added image and video support, different background options, and localization for 10 languages. However, copying and pasting images is not supported yet. They also made some improvements to the overall design and functionality of the whiteboards. Additionally, they added a find and replace functionality to their personal annual review feature. So I've been crafting some stuff up in the background, aka using craft docs. And I've been cracking my knuckles every time I'm working, because it makes me feel good. Regardless, we're going to dive into some of the updates that craft docs has launched recently. They just announced a update called 2.8. So first of all, craft actually made a big update to their whiteboards feature. So whiteboards have been around for a little bit, but if we do slash whiteboard, they just talked about doing what's called whiteboards v2. Based on community feedback, they added a lot of different things, like image and video support, different background options, and full localization for their 10 supported languages. Now, you can see here, there are a bunch of different backgrounds that you can do. You can use smart the line. I'm sure they're going to advance upon this even more so. But let's say I go to YouTube. And I were to copy a link to this Christopher Lawley video. You notice here that now we have an embeddable video here, which is awesome. Now I'm going to try to zoom out here, which I can do by clicking on this. And I can scroll left and right using shift or up and down using just the scroll wheel. And then also say I were to take an example screenshot of something, just take a screenshot of a thumbnail on YouTube about how lucidantish is that slacker, according to Shannon Sharpe. Take another screenshot, paste here. And it didn't seem to be working, so it seems like it's actually just for video. Maybe it's just a user error on my part, but from my perspective, I'm not seeing a copy paste situation. Let's see if I can grab it from my downloads. Nope. It seems like copy and pasting a link does work, but images aren't necessarily supported yet. So maybe that's on the future for them. I will say they did make some improvements to the way that things look in here. You have the ability to change your fonts, the ability to type within this. Making boxes and stuff has some nice edits. You can change it to different arrows. It doesn't have to be the same box shape. So they've definitely made some massive improvements to whiteboards. I'm going to do a more in-depth thing on this in another video. But hopefully you enjoyed a small breakdown right here of this really cool feature that Notion should have but doesn't.
