Nothing to say, yet
Tom from the Tasmanian Times interviewed people about the upcoming election and privatisation concerns. People are tired of the situation and unsure if there should be an election. Lack of confidence in the current government is discussed, with a desire for strong representation in Tasmania. The decision on whether to hold an election is uncertain, as it is more than just a state issue. I'm Tom from the Tasmanian Times, we've just talked to a few people from the Tasmanian Times here. What do they think about an election around the corner? A bit about being sort of tied to the state? I think it's more about privatisation. If I'm being honest with you, I think people are pretty sick of all this. So do you think there should be an election or not? Would you like people to come out among themselves? Or do you think people should have another say? I'd probably rather it didn't get that bad. I think that it's easier to bring the government. It shows they have the confidence to apply there. I think that each election is more than just about the state. And I think that's the point. Yeah, I think it shows that the public may not have the confidence that they need it. You mean that the current liberals didn't have the confidence? Yeah, they didn't have the support, they didn't have the supply and confidence across there to actually be able to pass important bill and legislation and to run our state. And it's literally that easy to bring it down. It shouldn't have been. It's like to see Tasmania have a strong representation again. But whether it's the choice between an election or not an election, we will try to work out amongst ourselves or not. I honestly don't know the answer to that. I just think that, yeah, it's more than about the state. I think it's more than about the state.
