The speaker initially wanted to vote for the Labor party but changed their mind. They discuss an upcoming election and mention a high opinion poll rating for Jeremy, the Premier. Budget issues are raised, with credit given for managing pandemic funds. There is mention of a minister misleading Jeremy, resulting in changes being made. Ultimately, Jeremy has taken responsibility and made efforts to address the situation. I would have voted Labor, but I won't be voting Labor now. OK, so you know Tom from the Tasmanian Pond. So we're in the area asking people what they think about the stadium. And there's an election around the corner, so what's your thinking about that? An election we didn't need to have. And the fact that Jeremy, we had an election, we've just had an opinion poll which showed Jeremy had 44% and he was still the most popular Premier. Yes, the budget's been a bit of a mess, but as Peter Gutmann said that was a lot of money that was left over from the pandemic that he kept us out of. And the vote he asked to go was Michael Peterson, not Jeremy. Jeremy had been mislead. Who was Jeremy misled? Yeah, but if Jeremy's been misled by a minister and he trusted his deputy, who was at the time then, of course, Jeremy's not industrious. He says, yep, I'm the leader and he's taken blame for that. And he's done everything he can to fix it. They've had to make changes.
