Nothing to say, yet
Imagine yourself in a comfortable and undisturbed place, where you can relax and focus on the solidity of what you're resting on. As you relax, you can imagine walking along a path in a beautiful mountain setting, noticing the colors, trees, clouds, and sounds of nature. Visualize carrying a heavy backpack filled with fears and worries, and as you walk uphill, imagine reaching the top and seeing a hot air balloon in a meadow. Empty the backpack into a basket in the balloon, symbolizing letting go of anxieties. Cut the ropes holding the balloon and watch it float away, taking all the burdens with it. Feel a sense of relief, freedom, and peace. Take deep breaths and rest. When you're ready, reorient yourself to the present and open your eyes, feeling relaxed. Just make sure that you're someplace comfortable, where you won't be disturbed, where you can relax for a few moments, or more than a few moments, and as you relax there, feel free to keep your eyes open if you'd like, or you can close them whenever you'd like. Just focusing now on the solidity of whatever's underneath you, whatever's holding you right now, what is it that you're resting on. And allow yourself to just sink a little bit more completely down into whatever it is you're resting on, just beginning to relax. There's no need to try to force yourself to relax, just be where you are. Relaxation is something that will happen on its own, in its own time. All you need to do is get used to sitting there, alive there, and simply listening to the sound of my voice. I'd like you to imagine that you're walking along a path in a beautiful mountain setting. And as you walk, allow your comfort to increase as you sink deeper and deeper down. Into this very relaxed state. And on this walk, I really can't know for sure all the things you'll be noticing. Perhaps you'll particularly enjoy the contrasting shades of colors. Or be aware of the tall trees silhouetted against the blue sky. Or perhaps you'll focus more on the peacefully drifting fluffy clouds across the sky. And I wonder if you'll notice the nearby mountainside with interesting patterns of rocks and trees. Many people enjoy the sounds of nature, like the sound of the wind in the trees, or the nearby stream, or the birds singing. And perhaps you'll notice the warmth of the sun against your skin, or the texture of things that you touch along the way. And as you walk, just take time to notice the things that interest you as you drift deeper and deeper into this trance-like, very relaxed state. And I'd like you to imagine that you're carrying a large backpack on your back. Feel the weight and burden of this backpack. And imagine that as you're walking, the pack is growing heavier with each step. And this pack is filled with objects of some kind. Objects that contain and have been infused with heavy burdens of fears and worries. Concerns about your health. All of these things are contained in this backpack, like a cauldron of worry. And as you're walking along with this pack, you'll notice that the path begins leading up a rise of a slight hill. But you sense that in a short distance ahead, you'll come to the top of the hill. And as you reach the top, the path leads into a large open meadow with beautiful green grass dotted with wildflowers. And you can walk out into the meadow, just noticing the beauty. The sounds. The scents around you. And as you walk further through the meadow, you can see a large, colorful helium or hot air balloon with a gondola underneath. And it's moored and tied down with large ropes. And you can walk closer and closer, and then finally, walking right over to this beautiful sight in the meadow. And inside the gondola, you'll notice a large basket or container of some kind. Which you can unlatch and which is empty inside. And now take off the heavy backpack and drop it to the ground. Are you tired of carrying around in your life that heavy burden of those feelings and worries that you've been carrying for so long? And do you feel ready to get rid of those old, outdated fears and worries? Good. Because in a moment, I'm going to ask you to open that pack. And inside, you'll find some kinds of containers or objects that have been infused with all of those anxieties, excessive feelings of concern about your health, of weighing you down, interfering with your ability to relax and enjoy, worry-free. So open the pack and see what kind of objects you find that contain any of that anxiety. What are they? Just notice them. Now I'd like you to take those objects slowly, one at a time. Toss them into that large basket in the gondola. And I think you're going to be pleased to notice that with each object that you throw away, those feelings of anxiety, fear, can decrease. And it'll be such a release. It's as if you're filling that basket with all of those feelings. It's as though you're cleansing yourself of all of those excessive feelings. And then beginning to feel increasing peace and comfort, increasing relief, freedom, with every object that you throw into that basket in the gondola. And by the time you've thrown away all of those objects, I think you're going to be surprised to perhaps just enjoy how free and how peaceful you can feel within yourself. Just taking the objects out of the pack, and begin throwing them one at a time. Continue to throw them into that basket. You can just enjoy getting rid of those feelings. And perhaps as you take one out, more and more of those feelings of anxiety and fear, and perhaps as you take one out, more will appear. Just continue to toss one at a time into the basket. And when you've thrown the last object into that basket, so that the basket is filled with all of those excessive feelings, those anxious feelings, you can just allow yourself to nod your head to yourself, just a gentle nod. It's recognizing that you've completely emptied the pack, and everything is in the gondola now. And now just close and latch the lid of the basket. You'll notice on the ground beside your feet, there's a giant scissor, beautiful ornate scissor. And you can use it to cut the ropes, one at a time, all of the ropes that are holding this beautiful big hot air balloon to the ground. You'll find it easy to cut these ropes. And as you release the balloon, you can rest back on the comfortable grass. And watch it flow up into the sky, carrying away the basket and all of those feelings of anxiety, concerns about your health, anything that's been burdening you. And with each movement and motion of the balloon up into the sky, you can feel an increasing sense of release, release. Free of those feelings, so that they'll no longer have to influence your thoughts, or moods, or actions. Just free of those feelings. And you watch as the wind begins to carry the balloon farther and farther away. And soon it'll be out of sight. When you see that it's completely gone, it gets smaller and smaller. Until you can't see it anymore, you can take a deep breath. You can really enjoy the freedom and relief and peacefulness of being rid of those feelings. And this relief and peace can flow and circulate all through you, throughout your whole body and your mind, your whole being. And you'll be delighted to discover that these feelings of freedom and comfort and well-being can remain with you throughout the rest of the day that you move through, or the evening. And just allowing you to breathe more easily for a while. You can rest there. My voice will go silent for a time. So And after resting there, breathing so deeply, and resting so completely, you'll find that it's been all the time that you need to really change. A very deep experience of carrying around this heavy backpack. The fact that now you can walk more lightly. And you get up from the place where you're resting in the grass. And begin to make yourself walk back through this beautiful meadow. And coming to the mountain path that brought you here. And turning onto the path that now is downhill. Making it even easier for you to walk. Enjoy all the sights, the sounds, the sensations you're experiencing in this beautiful place. And you walk along feeling lighter and lighter. This incredible sense of well-being, incredible sense of well-being, totally engulfing you. And then up ahead as you walk, you'll see yourself there. You're resting. Such a pleasant expression on your face, like you're having a wonderful dream. You can see how relaxed you are. Your body is relaxed. And you watch yourself there, breathing so deeply, completely. And then it's as if you can float right back into your body and really experience that pleasure, lack of tension. And when you're ready, you can begin to reorient to the room you're in, to the time of day it is. And to the time of day it is. And to the time of day it is. And to the time of day it is. And then feel free to open your eyes. And when you do, you can take a nice deep breath, perhaps a stretch. And just notice how wonderfully relaxed you can feel.
