The book of Revelation was written by the Apostle John, who had visions while in captivity on an island. He was instructed by Jesus to write down what he saw. The book contains prophecies about the future and historical events. John used symbols and allegories, but tried to interpret them as best he could. Bible Prophecy 101 We're looking at the book of Revelation the book of Revelation is a book that was wrote in Time of a prophet that walked with Jesus or a apostle by the name of John who walked with Jesus and later after Jesus demise this Apostle was preaching the gospel and was taken away and put in captivity on an island While he was on that island He still was engaging with heaven heaven was open and the visions began to appear before him he saw things and He was instructed by the angel that Jesus sent to him To write down the things that he was seeing and it all coincides with Ezekiel and Isaiah and many other prophecies. It's just that in his State he began to have his updates to the the whole council of God the whole mind of God about our future and many historical past events and so the Apostle John wrote the Revelation the unveiling the uncovering and it became the last book of the 66 books of the Bible and It is known as revelation So the Apostle John said that he had a vision given to him He was instructed to write this and he said that everything that He he was told exactly what to write and he said the people that listen to revelation And obey it and don't change anything in it. Those people will be blessed and so he wrote down What he had seen and he interpreted as much as he could but a lot of it was symbols and animals and Series of seven seven churches seven bowls seven plagues He had a whole bunch of symbols witty little allegories but he did speak as human as he could and then sometimes he just went off into a You know a heavenly Conversation and he wrote all of that down in the book of Revelation Revelation is not with an S.
