Susie from HomeGage is excited about transitioning to Spectora and highlights the benefits for clients and agents. Spectora offers modern, streamlined reports with clear summaries and easy sharing options. Agents will love the integrated repair request builder and convenient communications. Spectora provides a variety of customizable templates and a user-friendly interface with features like AI comment assist and a mobile app for easy inspections and client interactions. The app includes features like quick key details, automatic syncing, agreement signing, payment collection, and efficient photo management. Overall, Spectora offers a comprehensive solution for home inspections. Hey everyone, it's Susie with HomeGage and most recently I've been part of the Spectora team. For many of you I'm a familiar face when it comes to HomeGage and Web Report Writer and as you know our journey with Web Report Writer is coming to an end. But I am genuinely super excited to share with you why I think Spectora can be an incredible new home for your business. So recently I've been learning all about Spectora and really digging into it from the lens of a Web Writer user and I've been making a list just jotting down all the cool new features and just differences that have stuck out to me that I think you will love. So this video is my personal highlights reel for you. We're going to touch on what your clients and agents will love. We'll dive into templates, visit the mobile app and the web app. I'll highlight some parts of the scheduler that I love, some advanced automations, business metrics, integrations and then finally we'll end with a word from the Spectora sales and implementation team so you can learn a little bit more about what to expect when you're migrating from Web Writer to Spectora. First up let's talk about what clients and agents will love. The final product, your report. It's a modern report designed with no extra white space. I think it looks great on mobile too. I know with Web Writer we struggled a little bit when it came to making the best use of space. Well with Spectora I think that the reports are super streamlined. They're easy to follow. I love the colored headers here that really stand out and they make great use of white space. Everything is easy to see and understand whether you're viewing it on a PC or a mobile device. And when it comes to summaries they can just click summary at the top. Spectora has clear concise summary view options. Get the full summary or even drill down further to just the most important concerns. Remember how in Web Writer it simply lacked the option to share just the summary? Well Spectora makes it super easy for clients and agents to download the summary and share. Hands down the biggest excitement for agents will be the integrated repair request builder. Check it out. It's like the HomeGage CRL tool but a little more updated and integrated right into the report. I've been with HomeGage a long time and when we introduced CRL it was a huge win in HomeGage history. Agents were so psyched. Finally a tool for them. I know your agents will be just as excited to have Spectora's repair request builder at their fingertips. Now beyond the report agents and clients will love the easy and convenient communications. There's automated email and texting to keep them in the loop. Oh and get this agents don't even have to log in. They just click the link in their email or their text and they're viewing the report. And here's one more thing you and your clients will love. The upsell feature. It lets clients add on services directly through the client portal making it easy to tack on extra services if they forgot about it during the original booking. And this comes included at no extra cost to you. Now let's talk templates. I really think you're going to love the variety of ready-to-use templates in the template center. They make sense from the start. Less editing needed to make it your own and no more confusion. Most templates already closely match how you were trained and how you inspect. Go figure. Templates of all kinds are available to you for free. Multi-units, pre-drywall, CCPIA, Inanachi, Ashi, state-specific ones and many more that are shared by Spectora users that you can use and customize for free. Now on to template formatting. There are a bunch of report format options if you hover by the template name and click the pencil icon. I went through every option and it was super easy to understand what each setting does. No video tutorial or support article needed here. I was impressed. Simple descriptions on what the setting does and a link to view an example right in the tool. This area is also where you can customize your defect categories among other things. So definitely check this area out. On to the template structure. It's highly customizable so I gotta love that. You can create totally new sections. Just click plus section down here. You can add new items the same way. It's super easy to reorder either of these lists. Just do a click and drag. Here's a cool feature that's super handy. Let's say the template I'm working on doesn't have a garage section. Instead of building it out from scratch, I can open up a template that does have a garage section and choose to duplicate that whole section to my other template. In just a few clicks, it moves over the section, all the items, and all the comments too. This feature is available for just items and also just comments, allowing you to move things from one template to the other super easily. Comments themselves are broken into three types. You've got your informational comments up here. That's what in WebWriter was referred to as descriptions. So you can just click into that and you'll see what I mean. Kind of like your styles and materials, if you will. Then you've got your limitation comments here and right here where it says observations. You can actually change that to say defects or concerns or whatever you'd like, but this is where your defect comments will live. I like how with every type of comment, you can just click into it and this editor allows you to bold, underline, italicize, change the color of the font. You can use numbering or bullets. You can hyperlink. You can save an image or a video to be saved with a comment. Some sweet customization options for sure. Oh, and there's another handy option too. Click on the three dots up here and then go to template tools. Here you can alphabetize all your comments or sort your defect comments by the most used and a couple other options here too. So check this out. I think it's really handy. And speaking of comments, get ready for this. AI comment assist. It's super new. You can use it to speed up building up your comment library or even use it to improve your existing web report writer comments. Watch. I'll demonstrate to build one out for a garage door opener brand name. It's an informational comment. I'll click plus new. Here I'll just type in a couple keywords and then I'll click generate using AI. Here I can choose the length of the comment. I'll choose normal. And then now you'll see that I've got some options. I can use this as the name and if I like it I'll just put a check there. And then these are the options that it came up with. I'm pretty satisfied. So I'll check that box and use it. It auto-populates a location for me which is correct. And then the last one is a full comment and I don't need it for this informational comment. So I'll just click use and then here I can customize even more if I want. And then I'll hit save. Alright so next I'll demonstrate how to create a defect narrative comment. You'll click plus new and then here you're going to keep it as a checkbox answer format. That is what you use for all narrative comments. Here I'll type in a couple keywords and then I'll click generate using AI. And then what you know we've got our title and we'll use that so put a check there. The location yes and then we'll just review the comment. I like it and I'll say use it. And then here if I wanted to add a severity level I can. I can also customize it further but it's a pretty awesome tool so definitely use it. Now I'll share my highlights with the mobile app. First off I love how when you open the app you see your inspections for the day with quick key details for each inspection. Whether it's paid, agreement signed, you can tap the calendar icon at the top to access your full schedule right on the app. Another cool thing Spectora syncs your inspections from your scheduler to the app for you at 3 a.m. each morning so no more manual syncing from the calendar. On site if a client forgets to sign the agreement for some reason you can have your client sign the agreement directly on the app. And yes you can collect payment right here too. Of course these steps are usually done ahead of time but in a jam this is a great option to have. Overall I find navigating the app super intuitive and easy to learn. Just remember the informational comments or your descriptions. That one just took me a minute to sink in. When documenting a defect I love the quick tap to change the severity on comments so you don't have to go and edit the comment and change it in the template in order to change the severity like you did in WebWriter. Location tags at the individual comment level. Finally locations in a truly usable and quick way. Need to mark something for a review later? Use the flag feature. Next you'll love the rapid-fire photo. Yep you can snap back to back photos without those added taps to confirm each one. It's incredibly fast. I love how easy it is to see your progress. Each section or item turns green and gets a check when it's completed. And it even shows your total progress at the bottom too. The icon menu at the bottom has some cool things to point out. This right here turns on your device's flashlight. Super handy. Tap this camera and take those extra CYA photos. They're not included in the report but automatically are added to their own folder in your device's photo gallery. They're even automatically labeled with the inspection date and address. Alright now we're going to take a quick look at the app settings. These are a few things that popped out to me. You can opt to auto save report photos to your device's gallery too. Here you can use the auto annotate option that helps save taps when marking up photos. You can turn on live syncing so everything is backed up as you go. Or for team inspections it's great for visibility and it's also amazing if you're training new employees. Plus there's a chat bubble for quick support right when you need it. The bubble is wicked cool and there's a crazy good AI chat agent called Finn that is so impressive. I use it daily for all my questions as I've been learning Spectora. And connecting with live support is just as easy and helpful. Now I don't get impressed that easily but the support staff and Finn are such assets to you while you're on the job or at home. They're highly knowledgeable and just good people so if you need help check out the bubble. Now let's shift back to my computer because there are some cool things I want to point out about the Spectora web editor that'll make those final report edits quick and painless. My favorite feature is being able to quickly rearrange how the images show in an inspection comment. I can just click drag and drop them into the exact order that I want. It's so simple and makes your report flow so much better for your client. Another handy setting you can set which type of comment to show up first by default when you're working in the editor. Just a quick click here to adjust it to your preference whether you prefer to see informational or defect comments right away. Click here to access the media center. This is your hub to see all your photos in one spot sorted by all the different sections. You can also add captions and annotations quickly. You can also filter for specifics and click this icon right here to quickly see if you have any empty comments. And this last thing is a real time saver. I love that when you're previewing the report if you spot something that needs editing you can just click edit section and Spectora takes you directly to that exact area in the web editor. How convenient! And we're now moving on to the backbone of your business the scheduler. Spectora gives you more scheduling flexibility. Click here on availability and you can choose between open schedule which looks like this where an inspection can be put anytime during your open time. It's easy to adjust. Here I'll say I'm open for inspections from 11 to 5. This open schedule option has been a request from HomeGauge users for a very long time so I was really excited to see it as an option in Spectora. If you want to switch to time slots just click here. Add each time slot start time only. This is similar to how HomeGauge handles appointments. You choose whatever fits your business best. Next I'll point out some cool things you can do with services and fees. While you can have regular fees of course I'm going to show you an example of how Spectora can auto-calculate fees using modifiers. So I've got a base fee here for up to 2,000 square feet but if there's square footage above that the system will tack on an additional amount per square foot. You'll see here I also set up some age of home modifiers. If there's an older home the system will see that date and pull in and add the fee based on the modifiers. There's a lot more you can do. This is just a glimpse and remember it's all automated for you or for your client if they book online. So here's an example. I'm scheduling an appointment. It's above 2,000 square feet and it's built in 1926. I add my service and you'll see right here it calculates the total with the modifiers. Earlier I mentioned the upsell feature in the client portal. Well this is what it looks like on your end. Your services can have add-ons ready for clients to select in the portal if they forgot they needed another service during the initial booking. Now let's go back into settings. Here you can create custom discount codes and they're based on a percentage of the inspection fee. This is another longtime request for HomeGauge users that I was excited to see. I quickly want to point out that there's business metrics. They're simple and they make sense. Everything you need to get a pulse on your business is super easy. You can get clear data insights on your performance without getting too bogged down in complex data. To round things out, Spectora plays well with others. They have key integrations that can help you further streamline your business operations including QuickBooks for accounting and so much more. So this is where you enable all that. Beyond the basics, Spectora offers some really smart advanced automations. Yeah there's a small extra cost per report but honestly from what I've been seeing and from what I've been hearing from inspectors, the ROI is significant with little effort. I'm just hitting on some of the highlights that I keep hearing inspectors talk about but I encourage you to listen to their full experiences for yourself. I'm going to add links to their feedback in the video description below. So there you have it. These are just the highlights that popped out to me when I was learning Spectora and I didn't want you to miss out. So next I'm going to kick it over to Stephan with the Sales and Implementation team so he can go over the next steps and what to expect when you do the migration from Web Report Writer to Spectora. Thanks Susie. Let's walk through how we'll help you make the switch without ever missing a beat. I'm Stephan and I lead our Sales and Implementation team at Spectora and we're here to make sure your migration feels smooth, simple, and fully supported from start to finish. Here's what the process looks like when you're ready to make the move. Once you give us a go ahead by completing your migration call with a member of our Sales team, we'll start your Spectora free trial and get an implementation meeting on the calendar. This gives our team a few days to prep and begin migrating your templates, comments, agents, and agreements from PhoneGage. To make the transition even easier, we're offering 60 days free of Spectora and Spectora Advance. We'll apply any credits before any charges are made. Once you've begun migrating and pay for your Spectora subscription, you'll also receive a prorated refund on your current HomeGage subscription. No double billing, just a clean, supported switch. If you currently are offering HomeGage Protect, you can continue to do so, but it'll be a more manual process at first. At the end of the day, this isn't just a software change, it's an upgrade in support, speed, and experience. We've helped hundreds of inspectors make this move and we're ready to do the same for you. Whenever you're ready to get started, just book your migration call and we'll take it from there. Thanks!
