Nothing to say, yet
The speaker asks if we still believe in the miracles of Christmas and the enchantment of Santa Claus. They describe the wonder of seeing snowflakes and searching for Santa in the sky. They believe that without this magic, life would be sad and unbearable. They say that the spirit of Christmas should inspire us all year round and bring warmth and happiness. They believe in the power of believing in magic and the importance of innocence and simplicity. They warn that if we lose these precious gifts, life will be dull and meaningless. Do you still believe, with childlike awe, In the miracles of yuletide from days of yore? When angels' breath filled the crisply chilled air, As a child in wonderment you would stop and stare When flurries of fairy flakes pirouetted in the sky, And you scanned for Saint Nick in his sleigh-wooshing line. For without this enchantment all is lost and forlorn, And the sorrows of man could never be borne. The spirit which embraces us at this time of year Should light us from within all through the year To fill our days with warmth and delight As the comforting glow of mellow candlelight. Anything is possible if in magic you believe, As with threads of illusion it is able to weave a sense Of innocence and simplicity of thought, True treasures are rare which cannot be bought. If we lose those precious gifts, then all is in vain, As our days will all be joyless and utterly mundane.
