Nothing to say, yet
In a moment of reminiscence I gazed upon rich blue cornflowers adorning the old garden fence. Rays of sunlight, like spun gold, fell upon the place where, clothed in love in never-ending summers or so it seemed, I whiled away the hours amid blooms woven like a tapestry within its garden borders. Painted with imagined colours of an artist's palette, I created a scene from halcyon bygone days. Happy, unclouded, freedom-loving memories came alive. With willowy blossom the cherry tree bloomed forth, I heard again the sublime song of the blackbird. In dappled shade fireflies hovered over the rippling stream where innocents born of youth sat, unaware of the passing of time. With Mother Nature I dwelt along, no thought of what tomorrow brings, carefree as summer breeze till slumber kissed my weary eyes.
