Skladba Les trois jours Ferdinanda Carulliho (1770–1841) je jedinečnou hudební reakcí na Červencovou revoluci roku 1830. Herbert Stefan Rieger rozšířil původní kytarové sólo do komorně orchestrální podoby pro pikolu, klarinet, fagot, dva lesní rohy, kornet, bicí, koncertinu a kytaru. Kytarový part zůstal beze změn, ostatní hlasy byly nově zkomponovány.
