The prelude “What Remains! The Struggle Continues” is dedicated to the memory of the Chilean government from 1970 until the military coup of 1973. This connection is articulated most clearly in the coda, where a passage from the iconic revolutionary song “El pueblo unido jamás será vencido” is paraphrased.
