Die Vögel höhen ihren Sang, Der ganze Buchenhayn Wird süßer, süßer Silberklang, Und Bäche murmeln drein. Roth stehn die Blumen, weiß und blau, Und Mädchen pflücken sie, Bald auf der Flur, bald auf der Au, Ahi, Herr May, Ahi!
