I wrote this "Ave Maria" in 2024 during my last stay at the rehabilitation center in Lázně Bělohrad in the Czech Republic, inspired by a brave young lady who was sitting in a wheelchair after suffering a severe stroke. Originally I concipied this work for a solo voice with guitar accompaniment.
